How to open case of the BYTECC ME-350V4

To open the case of the BYTECC ME-350V4, you will need to remove the screws on the back of the case. Once the screws are removed, you can carefully lift the top of the case off to access the internal components. Be sure to take extra care when handling the case as it may contain sensitive components.

I have a BYTECC (BT144) External Floppy Drive that is only 1 year old. It just stopped working after trying to access a 720K disc. Now it won't recognize ANY disk, even known good ones. Resolve?

you can probably uninstall the drive in Device Manager ( dont delete driver ) then in device manager scan for new devices let it find and install the drive, it Should be fine. good luck

Can I use a Bytecc BT-144 usb external floppy disk drive with an iMac running OS 10.10.1?

I'm not a Mac tech, but I wouldn't see why not. Floppy drives are kinda old school now. You may need a driver for the floppy. Check online and see what you can find. Download and install it. Or you may have to plug the floppy in, then reboot, to get the Mac to recognize it, especially with a USB port. Some old Windozz machines were like that...maybe your Mac too???? Mac OS is very close to Linux/Unix systems, which have awful support for floppy drives. That's another possibility. If your windows machine can't read the disk, makes me think the floppy drive is bad or you have corrupted files on the disk. Try a couple known good floppy disks on the Windoz box and see what happens. Or another removable floppy drive. They cost $5 to $10 now.

I need a DC adaptor where do i find one

Depends on where you live. Look at the back of your drive or on the old adaptor for the requirements (5v/1a or 12v/.... or something else) or take these parts to the next electronics shop or computer repair shop. A new one should only cost a few bucks.

Do i need to buy an ide to ubs adapter

Better to buy a new hard drive. IDE drives nowadays are mostly found on surviving old pc's. They are slow and usually of low capacity. I feel that any money spent would be better directed at replacing the hard drive.

Bought a Bytecc external floppy drive for my xp cant get it to work i put the disc in but nothing happens

Look to see if it shows up in your device manager. If there, delete and reinsert it from scratch. See if the drive hums once when you plug it in (recognizing it). USB cable might be broken inside if it does not register.

Help can you tell me where is the ECU located in my 1994 Honda Accord Ex 4 Cly

Any junk yard or car Honda dealer should know. We had a 1992 and both the ECU and the TCU under the feet of the passenger under the dash behind a metal panel. When sitting in the passenger seat normally your feet rest on a sloped floorboard. Pull back the floor mat and look under there. Might also be behind a panel to the right of the passenger's feet, a vertical panel.
