On occasion, our 2013 Buick Enclave will not start. (no noise, no click, nothing) We had someone tell us to carry the other set of keys and try them.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the ignition system in your 2013 Buick Enclave, particularly the key fob or the ignition switch. When the issue occurs, it's possible that the signal from the key fob is not being properly transmitted to the vehicle's computer, or the ignition switch may not be receiving the signal correctly. One possibility is that the problem is related to the AC repair that was done before. It's possible that something was unplugged or not secured properly during the repair, which is causing intermittent issues with the ignition system. I would recommend taking your car back to the dealership and explaining the issue in detail. Even though they were not able to find the issue before, it's possible that they may be able to identify the problem this time. You may also want to mention the AC repair and ask if they can check to see if anything was missed during the repair. If the dealership is unable to find the issue, you may want to take your car to an independent mechanic who specializes in electrical issues. They may be able to diagnose the issue by testing the ignition system and checking for any loose connections or wiring problems. Overall, it's important to get this issue addressed as soon as possible to avoid getting stranded with a vehicle that won't start.

Where is 2011 Buick Lucerne output and input speed sensor?

The output and input speed sensors on a 2011 Buick Lucerne are located on the transmission. The output speed sensor is located on the driver's side of the transmission, near the front of the vehicle. The input speed sensor is located on the passenger side of the transmission, near the rear of the vehicle. To change the sensors, you will need to:
  1. Raise the vehicle: Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle off the ground. Make sure the vehicle is secure and stable before working under it.
  2. Locate the sensors: Follow the transmission housing to the front and rear of the vehicle to find the output and input speed sensors.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors: Use a small pair of pliers to gently pull the electrical connectors off the sensors.
  4. Remove the sensors: Use a socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts that hold the sensors in place. Then, gently pull the sensors out of the transmission.
  5. Install the new sensors: Reverse the steps above to install the new sensors. Make sure the sensors are securely fastened and the electrical connectors are properly seated.
  6. Lower the vehicle: Carefully lower the vehicle back to the ground using the jack.
It is important to follow proper safety procedures when working on a vehicle. If you are not comfortable or experienced in automotive repairs, it is recommended to have a mechanic perform the sensor replacement.

2008 Buick Lacrosse. The passenger front parking light does not come on, but the turn signal works.

Possibly bad ground connection - G100 In back of the right headlamp on the frame. Headlamps, turn signals, parking lamp for the right all ground at that point. Corrosion in the wire, broken park lamp wire. Headlamps, turn signals, parking lamp all have their own ground wire that connects at that point. Hooking up a professional grade scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM - body control module may point in a diagnostic direction. DTC B3949: Right Front Turn Signal Right Front Park/Turn Signal Inoperative Circuit/System Description The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the turn signals based on an input from the turn signal switch, part of the multifunction turn signal lever. The BCM receives an input from one of two signal circuits to determine which turn signal function is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the LEFT position, the left turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that left turn signal operation is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the RIGHT position, the right turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that right turn signal operation is requested. When a turn signal input is received from the turn signal switch, the BCM will activate the appropriate turn signals. The BCM pulses voltage to the applicable turn signals via the turn signal lamp supply voltage circuits, illuminating the required turn signal lamps. B3949 A short to voltage, short to ground, or an open/high resistance is seen on the right front turn signal lamp supply voltage circuit. You know how to test electrical circuits? Where is the fuel pump FUSE for my 1991 Buick Century V6 located?

he fuel pump fuse on a 1991 Buick Century V6 is located in the instrument panel fuse block. To access the fuse block, you need to open the driver's side door and remove the cover located on the side of the dashboard. The fuse block should be visible behind the cover. Once you locate the fuse block, look for the fuse labeled "Fuel Pump" or "FP." The fuse should be a 20-amp fuse, and it is usually located in the bottom row of the fuse block, second from the left. It's important to note that in some cases, the fuel pump fuse may be integrated into the main power distribution center under the hood. If you're unable to locate the fuse in the instrument panel fuse block, you may need to refer to the vehicle's service manual or consult a qualified mechanic for further assistance.

2008 Buick Enclave CXL. I had the starter replaced on it. When I picked up my car I get a message saying Anti-Theft System needs service.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Reset information in the link. https://www.google.com/search?q=2008+Buick+Enclave+CXL.+Anti-Theft+System+needs+service Here's the reset procedure: This 30-minute learn procedure should be used when all vehicle keys are desired to be replaced or reprogrammed. This procedure will erase all previously learned vehicle keys from the TDM. Once the 30-minute learn procedure has been completed, any remaining vehicle keys may be programmed using the Adding Keys procedure to ensure their continued functionality. 1. With an unlearned master vehicle key, turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. 2. Observe the security indicator, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn off. 3. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes. Important: The TDM learns the key transponder information upon the ignition switch transition from OFF to RUN. You must turn the ignition OFF before attempting to start the vehicle. 5. With a master vehicle key, start the vehicle. The vehicle has now learned the key transponder information. 6. If additional keys are required to be learned, refer to Adding Keys. 7. With a scan tool, clear any DTCs. If this doesn't work then to determine what the problem is you will need to use a scan tool to read the trouble codes (if any are stored) and also to view the data in the antitheft module to see what inputs / outputs are being recognized by the module. This will determine whether you have a problem with the key, receiver, module, or any other part of the system. Since there are not any common problems for this issue, I can not recommend any specific repair for this fault. If the module has any trouble codes stored let me know what they are and I will be able to pinpoint a specific problem for this issue.
