my suggestion , would be to find a lawn mower repair shop (that's not too busy out of season) and nicely ask the attendant to make you a new brake , believe it or not , lawn mowers use a lot of similar things that strollers do (wheels, cables,tubing ,Etc.), and chances are they can with a bit of time make you something to work from what they have lying about . as this model is as you said .discontinued and no new parts are available

Old clip just pulls out with pliers if it's jammed. Hard part is finding a new clip. Try eBay or face book. I sell them but have to post them from New Zealand. Google bugaboo repair guy.

30mm to 50mm of movement is in the normal range for a Bugaboo as the handle is not fixed to the chassis like most strollers. It has a rotating central joint. 1mm of movement in that joint becomes 10mm of movement at handles end. More important is to check both sides lock in the same places. If there seems to be gaps or movement between the four hub sections you can tighten then up by using a large socket from a socket set. Put it over the dome so it only touches the edge of the dome then use a hammer to tighten the down down.

Gen 3 is prone to the pins in a plastic disk inside the hub breaking off. I make 3D print replacements and have a video about this on www.shapeways.com/shops/bugabooparts

Contact bugaboo directly. The safety strap is an imporant feature of the stroller, and it should be replaced. Because it is directly connected to the chassis it is almost impossible to replace the strap apart from replacing the entire chassis.

Go to bugaboo.com and go the the contact section. Relay your situation with the strap, giving them your serial number and such and see how they respond. They may need to replace the entire chassis, but it is covered under the warranty.

Check all the wheels. Sounds like one is broken or has a bad bearing in it. Try In that case you'll have to order a new one and replace it. In looking at reviews for this buggy, it seems like a common issue.
