Engine shuts off when steering is at full lock

I guess im not understanding what full lock is,but check around your steering column for any bare wires that could short out and kill the engine. Its a common problem.

What are the torque specs for the track on unidentified snowmobile?

If you mean track tension, I raise the back of the sled and tension it until it is tight against the sliders in the front, but you can pull it away with 10-15 pounds pressure with your hand.

What can be done with a primary clutch that rattles at idle but is quiet at higher rpm?

Normally the pins and bushings get worn on the cams. You should replace them before they get too bad.

My a/c works fine,I think, but every time the A/c comes back on it cools a little more dropping the temp each time it comes back on.

Sounds like your air-conditioner is near a source of heat... So it cools the room, including the area near itself, but then the area near it gets warmed up faster than the rest of the room... Causing it to go back on again. Remember an air-conditioner temperature sensor is located right in the front of the air-conditioner... So if the area around the air conditioner is near a heat source (or a vent to outside warm weather) then it's going to keep turning on and making the room colder and colder each time.

2002 Pantera. battery went dead tried to pull start but it is vert stiff can not turn over easy any idea?

I always use WD-40, it lubricates and also will burn, easier on the engine than starting fluid.

1996 ski doo touring 700 triple, tach runs 9000 at 50mph

How is the belt? If belt is wore it will tach more. Maybe your driven pulley is not expanding properly, which lets the belt fall down into it changing gear ratio.

Take your serial # off the tunnel to a dealer. They should be able to tell you. You may even be able to find a website that has a chart.

Why does the fan not come on when the heat gauge goes into the red the alarm comes on but the fan still wont come on

Could be a fuse for the fan, possibly using a different thermal for the fan than the gauge and the thermal is bad. Try hot wiring power to the fan, see if the fan even works.

Why would snowmobile engine run but track wont turn?

Is the clutch halves on the engine moving together when engine speed is increased? If so then I would look inside the chain box, maybe if you're lucky you just broke a chain. It should be real simple to find this, raise the back of the machine off the ground, have someone turn the driven pulley and see where (in the drivetrain) it stops turning.
