I jump started my 96 thundercat with a halford's jump start box and when i take the leads off it starts to run badly why would it do that?

sounds like the jump starter is supplying regulated power to the spark generator/distributor, without this smoothed power the alternator is feeding unregulated to it.... placing a good battery across the terminals after jump starting should prevent this mis-firing fault.

97 Polaris Indy 500. I have problems starting my machine. Only will start with gas half open, and choke half way. I was told it was the pin and seats in the carbs and put new ones in each carb. Still

Bowl float is sticking open.
Turn the fuel on tap the carbbie bowl. With something ie end of a screw driver etc... your trying to get the float to unstick. Before you put it back together. ..ie putting the bottom on make sure the float goes up and down freely

How to remove a gas tank on Yamaha Apex 2007

You have to remove the 2 bolts holding the seat down under the tunnel first. Then slide the seat to the rear to remove it. Then you can remove the springs holding the hold-down plate on the rear of the tank. Just slide the tank back then.

Sansui tv screen upside down, how do i fix it? its SLED-32HDR

This is an uncommon problem. There does not appear to be a scree flip setting in the menu. You could try for a reset of the set but I suspect that would do nothing except require you to retune your channel settings. It is possible that the set was jarred or some vibration occurred that cause a loosening of the ribbon cable to the timing control (TCON) unit in the set. One could try resetting that ribbon cable. Otherwise, the fix might involve replacement of the main board. The video settings menu controls do NOT offer control of the screen flip. Here is a service manual for a Sansui 32 inch HD. SANSUI HDLCD3200C Service Manual That would leave you to tapping Sansui support if this information doesn't suffice. Support

Oil from oil tank breather dumps oil in air cleaner

common problems that can cause this is to much oil. engine veins blocked or the rings on the piston are gone and the back pressure from ignition creates an overflow of air into the system.

Salomon 2005 kiana fitting with burton lexa binding- size advice

A huge proportion of footwear of all sorts are made using sizes taken from the standard Italian last. It has become a sort of tradition because Italian shoes have been world reknown for elegance - as a nation the Italians have notoriously narrow feet. People who don't have "Italian" feet usually need to buy shoes based on width fit in order to achieve comfort and in doing so will often end up buying shoes that are up to three sizes too long.. Add into this unsatisfactory situation the fact that not all manufacturers cut on the generous side, as with clothes, and the further problem when shoes are produced in metric and then converted into British or American sizes that rarely coincide, providing low cost manufacturers a further opportunity for meanness and rendering the more expensive footwear generally superior as being much closer to the size printed on the shoes or boots. Buying shoes and boots these days with preconceived notions about what size you need is a pathway to unnecessary expense and discomfort and much disappointment. Only expensive children's shoes, exclusive brands, a very few specialist and bespoke shoes are available in a variety of width fittings for each size, leather shoes do have the benefit of "bedding in" but shoes and boots made of synthetic materials rarely do and if they do it is a slow process. People who must buy mailorder often order two, three or more pairs at once in order to make comparisons. If you are not in a position to do that I suggest you either have your feet measured for width and length or obtain the instructions to measure them yourself and then provide the measurements to the shoe or boot supplier or manufacturer and request they supply boots to fit the width of your obviously non-Italian feet.
