Why is the gas not going to the burner?

'make model (what it is)' in all question please Rick. All of the gas passageways in a fridge are very small. If you removed the gas valve and associated pipes, it takes a long time for the gas to bleed through and get from the gas line to the pilot light and that is needed to heat the thermocouple and allow the gas valve to open. It should also be mentioned that all work on Gas appliances should be undertaken by a qualified and registered gas technician.

How long can I leave Bradford White gas water heater on Low setting with the house water main turned off

With gas appliances and heaters I would turn the gas off. When you are there you are opening a closing doors and windows and creating air flow. When your home is locked up, gas could build up, especially if a pilot light went out. 2 or 3 days, no problem but anything longer than that, turn it off, or get a house sitter.

Are all 25VS FV sensors equivalent?

I personally wouldn't replace a safety device (placed there by lawyers, lawsuits and the all knowing government) with anything other than OEM. While it's very likely that one manufacturers flammable vapor sensor may interchange on another brand of tank, I think it's highly unlikely that EVERY manufacturers sensor will work on every other brand of tank

Nestle Dolce Gusto: the lever won't stay down and no water flows. I'm hoping there is a simple fix for this.

Hi, Please clean your machine as described in the manual of your device. Check for any debris that would cause the lever to move in the unexpected way that it's moving. Then, you can attempt a test run of the coffee maker. If still having issue, please reach out to Nestle by dialing 1 800-745-3391. Thank you.

Why is the Bosch high flow 21e system while showering going cool & then returns to the set temperature?

If your Bosch Highflow 21e hot water system is experiencing fluctuations in water temperature while showering, it could be caused by a few different factors. Here are some possible reasons for this issue:
  1. Flow rate too high: The hot water system may not be able to keep up with the demand if the showerhead or tap is allowing too much water to flow through. This can cause the water temperature to drop suddenly. Try reducing the flow rate by turning down the tap or using a low-flow showerhead.
  2. Water pressure fluctuations: If the water pressure in your home fluctuates, it can cause the hot water temperature to vary. This can be caused by various factors, such as other appliances using water at the same time, or changes in municipal water supply pressure. Installing a pressure regulator or a flow restrictor may help to stabilize water pressure.
  3. Blocked or dirty water filter: A clogged or dirty water filter in the hot water system can restrict water flow, causing the water temperature to fluctuate. Check the filter and clean or replace it if necessary.
  4. Malfunctioning thermostatic mixing valve: The thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) regulates the water temperature in the hot water system. If it's faulty or dirty, it can cause temperature fluctuations. A licensed plumber or technician can inspect the valve and replace it if necessary.
  5. Faulty temperature sensor or control board: If the temperature sensor or control board in the hot water system is faulty, it may not be able to maintain a consistent water temperature. A technician can diagnose the issue and repair or replace the faulty component.
If you're unsure about how to diagnose or fix the issue with your hot water system, it's best to contact a licensed plumber or technician for assistance.

Installed a new water heater but can't get it lit.

That's because presumably you are not a certified gas engineer. The law says new installations and servicing must be done by a qualified engineer. Call in a service tech to set it up and certify it safe.
