is there a precharge of air in your tank. when empty of water th?re should be about 1 bar or 14psi of air. water must be able to empty from tank. pump air in until all water is gone. if unable to empty tank has failed. also if a pumped unit, when changing filters ensure all air is bled through pump before turning it on toprevent air locking inside pump

The filters that you should replace every the six months are the two pre/post filters (FQROPF). The membrane (FQROMF) needs to be replaced every 1 to 2 years. During the filter change, bacteria could be introduced, so it is recommended that you sanitize the tank while changing the filters. By any chance did you tip it over? If so, it might be "spoiled ", perhaps not. If you tip one over, it must sit upright for 24 hours (without being plugged in or started) to allow the oil to return to the correct position in the refrigeration tubing. If this is not done, the oil can "kill " the compressor. Try to turn it upright and leave it for a 24 hour period, then plug it in and see if it is OK or not. God bless your efforts.

I suggest looking where you last had it in your hands. If that does not work, try asking your friends to come over for a mystery treasure hunt, pour them all several drinks and then tell them what they are looking for and that it could be anywhere in your house.

Many of these machines, as well as some compact refrigerators, have completely sealed systems that do not have recharge ports available. This is to save money in manufacturing, as well as the fact the for the price of a service call you can probably get a new one. If your unit does not have a charge port, the service tech will need to install one. That requires him to pierce the system, recover the refrigerant, install the port, and recharge the system. It is not a DIY job. If you are certain that the problem is low refrigerant, then you're best option is get a new one.

I think you have air in the line. Try shaking the machine and continue to dispense water through hot and cold. That should take care of problem.

Hold filter cartridge in one hand and slowly turn on water. The water pressure will push the cartridge out of the housing.
