Does it do this on any other game? Is the controller fully charged? Is it the correct controller for a PS2? Is the Bluetooth Receiver on the actual PS2 console plugged in correctly? If you can use the controller with an actual wire try to play the game to see if it does the same thing. If it works on a wire it could be an issue with the bluetooth link.
