Are some titles from Looney Tunes Golden Collection still under public domain?

All shorts on that list (with the notable exception of Crowing Pains - which was found out to have it's copyright renewed in 1974) are still under the public domain. However, I've heard from some sources that Warner has placed copyrights on the restorations used for the Golden Collections.

So is Young Justice going to be continued? There was a meeting for its continuity and the continuity of GLTAS as well on Aprill 11th I've been told...

It is yet to be proven whether there was an actual meeting or it was just a hoax because because neither Brandon Vietti or Greg Weisman have confirmed anything at all.

Did Superboy and Miss Martian still have feelings for each other.

I definitely see the potential for them to reunite there and think it would make a lot of sense. The feelings are definitely still there. Even Lagoon Boy sees it, hence, his being intimidated by SB/MM's past together. He gets nervous when they are alone. That means there is major uncertainty/insecurity on his part, IMHO, as to where M'gann's heart lies.

Why is the Necronomicon in this series when it was destroyed in the original Evil dead?

In the original Evil Dead, Ash throws the book of the dead into the fireplace, it appears to burn and destroy the remaining two deadites. However if you watch the scene closely, you see while the book reacts to fire, we never see it actually being destroyed. The book's eyes open and a tongue extends from it and that's the last we see of it. In Evil Dead 2, the Necronomicon is seen sitting on a table, Ash briefly reads from it and then it isn't seen again (although the first 7 minutes of Evil Dead 2 are supposed to be recap and not exactly canon) for the rest of the film, they use the lost pages of the book. So in terms of continuity, it could be said that Ash threw the book in the fire and assumed it was destroyed. Eventually someone else came across the cabin, found the book and sold it. Ash somehow learned of this and tracked to book down and acquired it for safe keeping.

Which films in the series does this series follow?

The show follows Evil Dead 1 and 2. Evil Dead 2 is referenced the most. Army Of Darkness is never referenced due to rights issues. It could be said that the events still happened, but Ash never bothers mentioning his travelling through time because nobody ever believed him.

Why is his ex-wife played by a black woman in the third season when his children are clearly white?

C.K. has stated that he is not concerned with continuity and will change characters at will to fit the episode's story. In previous episodes, Louie's ex-wife was played by a white actress but only her hands were visible. In response to this, C.K. said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!": "If the character works for the show, I don't care about the race." He continued: "When a black woman tells you to get a job, its just... more" In the first season, different actresses played Louie's mother and youngest daughter throughout the season. In the first season, Louie had a brother. But in the second season, he has two sisters and his brother is never mentioned. In one episode, his niece comes to stay with him for a seemingly extended period of time but is never seen again after that.

What party does Jim Hacker represent?

The programme tries to be as apolitical as possible, but he could well represent a Tory minister. Later on Margaret Thatcher appeared as the Leader of the Opposition, which would suggest that he is Labour. Maybe he is an early form of New Labour?

How does the Dowager Countess not know what "weekend" means?

The term was originally used only in Northern England, meaning the period from Saturday noon to Monday morning, and was not in wide use until the late 19th century. The notion of people working for only 5 or 5 1/2 days in a week would not be familiar to the Dowager Countess, who is accustomed to the countryside and great houses, where people worked 6 or 7 days a week. Edit: It could also be that neither the dowager, nor anyone she'd socialize with, has ever worked at all. Therefore it wouldn't occur to her that there are "workdays" and "non-workdays." In her life, a Saturday would be no different from a Tuesday. (A Sunday would, but only by religious custom.) When Matthew mentions the weekend, it only underscores that until now he's been a middle class lawyer in a very different circle.

Why is Cora an American?

Between the 1870s and the outbreak of WWI in 1914, hundreds of wealthy American women visited England and Europe to marry aristocrats. The earliest American heiresses married impoverished aristocrats because they were snubbed by American high society, but the later heiresses wanted titles and to mingle with European royalty. Cora was born to Isidore Levinson, a dry goods multi-millionaire from Cincinnati. She arrived in England, with her mother, in 1888, at the age of 20, and was engaged to Robert, then Viscount (pronounced vie-count) Downton by the end of her first season. It is not that remarkable that she is American. Britain still welcomes the odd American to its shores.

How come the DVDs aren't released in episode order?

It's because of the copyright issues for the movies featured on the show. When movies were featured on the MST3K during its original broadcast, Best Brains (the production company that made the series) would negotiate the terms in which they were allowed to use each movie. Generally they were allowed the complete rights to show the movie on TV but they didn't always get the rights to release the movie on video. Since the idea of releasing the entire series on home video didn't seem very likely during the days of VHS, this was not a major concern for Best Brains. It wasn't until the advent of DVD that the idea of releasing all of MST3K on home video even seemed viable. This also remains an issue for modern streaming services, since TV rights don't carry over to streaming rights. Today, Shout Factory, who releases MST3K on DVD, has to renegotiate the rights to each movie with the copyright holders of the original film and pay them a license fee. Some episodes may have license terms that are too expensive or simply unavailable for Shout Factory to purchase, and this makes releasing MST3K in order nearly impossible.

Why is Crow's head backwards when watching the movies?

This is one of the most prevalent issues for viewers of the show. The fact is that Crow's head is not backwards. However, because of the shape of his head there is a 3D optical illusion that can make some viewers see him as backwards and some as forward.

Does Mrs. Miggins also appear in Blackadder II?

No, but she's mentioned two times; first in Potato, where she's revealed to be bedridden from the nose down. Later, she's mentioned in Money. Apparently, she owns a pie shop in that series, unlike in Blackadder the Third, where her descendant, played by Helen Atkinson-Wood, runs a coffee shop.
