I first tried to remove the mister but the way it is built make it impossible to take it apart without destroying the cauldron. So what I did was purchase another fogger for 20 bucks. [Found it on the web] It fits snuggly between the outside wall and the original mister. The wire went up her dress and out her hand that holds the stick. I used masking tape and taped the wire to her stick. then I painted so it was not as noticeable. I put the screen in the cauldron and you can't tell the there is a replacement. The only thing that is different is Now the mist has all different colors instead of just red. It is a easy solution

If you remove the six screws holding the base of the lamp together (one is under a rubber foot), you will find a circuit board which controls all functions of the lamp. Look for a small 1A fuse that is located on the top side of the board. Remove and replace with a new fuse. I purchased a pack of two in the electrical dept. at Ace Hardware. Everything on mine now works again!
