It appears that the locking mechanism that is
This can happen if you accidentally depress the spindle locking button while the tool is running -- a common problem since Dremel did not include any type of interlock to prevent it, and the button is right where you'd hold the tool for best control. If that happens, you probably will need to replace the tool or send it to Dremel for repair.

Gears stick, sometimes I have to shut it off to change gears.
Depends on what you have, but if you need to shut off the engine to shift into the gears then you have a problem with the clutch assembly not releasing. Could be needing a new clutch disc or pressure plate or a simple adjustment on the clutch linkage or if it is hydraulic clutch bleed the system or replace the master and or slave cylinder.

Dremel Stylus 1100 7.2 volt wont charge when the
My stylus is doing exactly the same thing. l was advised by numerous people to change the capacitor in the charging dock, they also said that you can find youtube videos to guide you through it (the capacitor only cost a few cents when l bought it). I really should finish doing that job, although l did actually remove the 'screws'' from the base, l warn you- they are triangle and a nightmare to unscrew, see if you can find a triangle screwdriver BEFORE you start, or you'll end up doing what l did and destroying a perfectly good straight screwdriver!??. Good luck
Faulty micro switch in Hitachi NR90GC
Hi, had the same problem. After market micro switch replacement for Hitachi NR 90GC from RS Components Stock number 682-1888 MPN; D2HWC203MR.Note; this requires soldering in with heatshrink and cutting flyleads to correct length. Part of the alignment issue can be the handle screws working loose over time with use. Don't force anything back when assembling and use a little grease on contact parts.
