Bosch pof400A router. How can I remove the base plate?
I found a diagram of one version of the Bosch POF 400A router here:
https://www.powertoolspares.com/bosch/router-pof-400-a.m/0603261106/spares . It looks like the two posts are part of the base plate; look for two socket head cap screws at the top of the posts. These hold the compression springs on the posts. These are part 46 on the diagram. The listed size is DIN86-AM6x16-5.8".
I hope this helps. However, I don't think this model is designed to have the base removed often. The housing may need to be separated to find the cap screws. See the diagram for how the housing fits around the motor of the router.
