How do I tear down a DeWalt reciprocating saw model DW304
Most body shell panels on power tools are put together in a set order and often have one or more hidden screws. These are sometimes hidden behind stickers. Other sections are sometimes held it place by hook clips that are moulded into the plastic panels. These need to be Gently levered apart.
DO NOT force any sections apart as this will damage the shell making it unsafe to use.

If that happens, you probably will need to replace the tool or send it to Dremel for repair.
Gears stick, sometimes I have to shut it off to change gears.
Depends on what you have, but if you need to shut off the engine to shift into the gears then you have a problem with the clutch assembly not releasing.
