Higher omega 6 oils and lower sodium and phosphorus.
No cheese or popular dog treats as they tend to have too much sodium, which can make higher blood pressure causing the kidneys to work harder.
Catching early can help, but if it's too far along, trying to make it better will never happen.
Remember that our pets don't show pain and discomfort like we do, they could be in terrible pain and not show it.
Have the pet evaluated by a pro. I totally get looking for answers and opinions online but, without seeing your pet, I'm hoping you understand where I'm going with this.

As you said, you have dogs at your home. So while purchasing a vacuum cleaner you must research properly to buy the absolute best quality. You can go to https://reviuu.com/ for a proper comparison. If your vacuum cleaner still smells of your dog, cleaning it with water and baking soda might help.

In my opinion, the easiest way to ensure your pets are safe and happy whilst you are on holiday is to leave them with a friend or family member that you trust. If this isn't a possibility for, you then you may find that pet sitting is your best option. I recently found a man offering pet sitting in Essex and he delivered a really great service. The type of pet you have will determine how much your pet sitting will cost.

For cats, pet sitters will likely visit your house a couple of times a day to check on and feed your cat. Dogs will require more attention so they will probably have to stay with the pet sitter, or you could invite the pet sitter to stay at your property whilst you are away. This can be good if you are worried about leaving your house empty too.

I'm gonna guess this is some sort of bug. By "in" your air mattress, you mean like inside it? maybe you can try deflating the mattress one day and flushing it out
