Have ASM 142S helium dedicated mass spectrometer leak rate meter has AL reading instead of numbers what does this mean
I'm afraid Mr Gallant is right on this one
I have tried this on your behalf and they very helpful with limited information available to me.
Try emailing
[email protected] I reproduce below the messages I received from him
"Can you provide the following information please?
1. Serial number of your leak detector
2. Current running hours of the leak detector
3. Any error codes recorded"
and
""The serial number for the leak detector is located on the left hand side of the chassis. It will be a 6 digit number of an older version or may begin with -HLD.
You can view the current running hours by going into the following menu - maintenance/detector hours.
If there is a fault with the unit, you should have an alert in the panel advising to press next for error. Here you can display what error is present.
Let me know how you get on."

Corning Pc-320 hotplate/stirrer. Where can I get a manual?
Why do you need a manual there is nothing to do. To make the stirring function work, you need a magnetic stir bar (just a Teflon coated magnet. There is a motor-powered spinning magnet under the ceramic plate.
The heater is not thermostatically controlled. It just heats more as you turn the dial more.
Why can't I see a slide out of my vivitar microscope. Can see a reflection of light but there is no image of anything other than cloud
dont know the model but it sounds like you have a problem with the light source, Is there a sub-stage condenser?. Try googling
"set up microscope lighting" If the mirror has 2 sides, concave and flat use the flat-plane side. dont point the mirror at an outside sky but rather at a lit pale coloured wall, piece of paper etc.
as a rough start try a piece of white tissue/toilet paper under the
slide and investigate full focus movement ...carefully!!
be careful the the objective stays well clear of the slide.
start with the lowest magnification first. good luck
