My Saltwater system report a code 93 and beeping 24 hours

See page 18 of the saltwater instruction guide ... 93 means it is on stand-by, power saving mode. Nothing is wrong, it's just waiting for the timer to tell it to turn back on automatically. If you want the system to be on right now, just turn the power switch off, wait a couple seconds and turn it back on.

My Raypak RP2100 heater, when starting for first time of the day, shows CFH, then SPK and then just buzzes.

The error codes and buzzing sound you are experiencing with your Raypak RP2100 heater indicate potential issues with the ignition and flame sensing components. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take: 1. Check Gas Supply: Ensure that there is an adequate supply of gas to the heater. Make sure the gas valve is fully open and that there are no obstructions or leaks in the gas line. 2. Inspect Ignition System: The CFH (Call For Heat) and SPK (Spark Ignition) codes suggest that the heater is having trouble igniting. Inspect the ignition system components, including the spark electrode, ignition control module, and wiring connections. Clean any debris or corrosion that may be affecting the spark ignition. 3. Check Flame Sensor: The buzzing sound you hear could be related to the flame sensing system. The heater may not sense the presence of a flame, causing it to shut down. Inspect the flame sensor for any buildup of soot, debris, or corrosion. Clean the flame sensor using a soft cloth or a non-abrasive brush. 4. Verify Proper Ventilation: Ensure that the heater's venting system is clear of any blockages. Blocked vents can lead to incomplete combustion and affect the heater's ignition process. 5. Consult the Owner's Manual: Refer to the owner's manual for your specific model of the Raypak RP2100 heater. It may provide additional troubleshooting steps and error code explanations that are specific to your unit. 6. Seek Professional Assistance: If the issue persists or you are unable to resolve it on your own, it's recommended to contact a professional technician who is experienced with Raypak heaters. They will have the expertise to diagnose and repair any complex issues with the ignition system. Remember, dealing with gas appliances can be dangerous. If you are not experienced with working on gas heaters, it is best to contact a qualified professional to ensure proper troubleshooting and repairs.

My Certikin Genie pool heater is showing error code HI indicating blocked condensate but there is no blockage, and sensor seems to be ok - tested with meter - is there anything else I can do?

If your Certikin Genie pool heater is displaying an error code "HI" indicating a blocked condensate, but you have checked for blockages and the sensor appears to be functioning correctly, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the condensate drain line: Ensure that the condensate drain line is clear and not blocked. Sometimes debris or dirt can accumulate in the drain line, causing a blockage. Use a thin brush or pipe cleaner to clean out any potential obstructions.
  2. Inspect the condensate trap: The condensate trap is a component in the heater's condensate system that collects and removes condensation. Check the condensate trap for any blockages or debris. Remove any obstructions and clean the trap thoroughly.
  3. Verify the exhaust system: Make sure the exhaust system, including the vent pipe and termination point, is clear of any obstructions. Blockages in the exhaust system can cause condensate backup. Inspect the vent pipe for any signs of damage or clogs and address any issues found.
  4. Reset the system: Try resetting the pool heater to see if it resolves the error code. Consult the manufacturer's manual or instructions for the specific steps on how to reset the heater. This can sometimes clear temporary faults or errors.
  5. Contact technical support: If you have performed the above steps and the error code persists, it's recommended to contact Certikin's technical support or customer service for further assistance. They can provide specific troubleshooting guidance or recommend a qualified technician who can diagnose and fix the issue.
It's important to note that working with pool heaters involves dealing with potentially hazardous systems and components. If you are not experienced or comfortable with troubleshooting pool heaters, it's best to seek professional help from a certified technician or contact the manufacturer for support.

Jandy AquaLink RS - no power

If you have checked the circuit breakers and they appear to be functioning properly, here are a few other things you can try:
  1. Check the GFCI outlet: If the AquaLink RS is plugged into a GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) outlet, make sure the outlet hasn't tripped. You can do this by pressing the "reset" button on the outlet.
  2. Check the transformer: The AquaLink RS requires 24 volts AC power to operate. If the transformer that converts your home's AC power to the 24 volts required by the AquaLink RS is faulty, it can cause the system to fail. Use a multimeter to test the transformer to ensure it's supplying the proper voltage.
  3. Check the power supply: If the transformer is supplying the proper voltage but the AquaLink RS is still not receiving power, the power supply board may be faulty. Check the power supply board for any obvious signs of damage, such as bulging or leaking capacitors.
  4. Check the wiring: It's possible that a wire has become loose or disconnected, preventing the AquaLink RS from receiving power. Check all of the wiring connections to make sure they're secure and tight.
If you're still unable to get power to the AquaLink RS, it may be time to call a professional pool technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Our control panel indicator lights do not light up when pool comes on but may come on during the cycle. No consistency.

If the control panel indicator lights on your pool system do not consistently light up when the pool is turned on, it could indicate a potential issue with the control panel or the electrical connections. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take: 1. Check Power Supply: Ensure that the power supply to the control panel is stable and consistent. Make sure the power source is providing the correct voltage and that there are no loose or faulty connections. 2. Inspect Wiring Connections: Verify that all wiring connections to the control panel are secure and properly connected. Loose or damaged wiring can cause intermittent issues with the indicator lights. 3. Clean and Inspect Control Panel: Check the control panel for any signs of dirt, debris, or corrosion. Clean the control panel and its components using a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution. Inspect for any visible damage or loose components. 4. Test Indicator Lights: While the pool is running, observe the control panel and try to identify any patterns or triggers that may cause the indicator lights to come on. Gently tap on the control panel to see if it affects the lights. This could indicate a loose connection or a faulty component within the control panel. 5. Consult a Professional: If the issue persists or you are unable to identify the cause of the inconsistent indicator lights, it is recommended to contact a professional pool technician or the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They will have the expertise to diagnose and resolve the specific issue with your pool control system. Remember, working with electrical components requires caution. If you are not experienced or comfortable working with electrical systems, it is best to seek professional help to avoid any potential safety hazards.

E 97 Dry Fire Protection Can I run the filtration and the bubbles or jets to solve the problem?

E 97 is an error code that indicates a dry fire protection system has been activated in your Intex Pure SPA. This means that the spa has sensed that there is not enough water in the system, and it has automatically shut down the heater to prevent damage. To solve this problem, you will need to add more water to the spa. Once the water level is above the minimum level required for safe operation, the dry fire protection system should reset itself automatically. It is not recommended to run the filtration and the bubbles or jets without enough water in the system as it can cause damage to the pump and other components. Therefore, make sure to add enough water before turning on any functions of the spa. Also, make sure to check for any other causes that may have led to the water level dropping too low, such as a leak or drainage issue. If you continue to experience issues, refer to the owner's manual or contact Intex customer support for further assistance.

Compool LX3800 isn't starting pool filter, booster pump, or spa bubbles after power outage

If you are unable to get the booster pump, filter pump, or spa bubbles to turn on, even though everything seems to be fine and you are getting 120V at each item, it could be due to a number of issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the circuit breaker: Make sure that the circuit breaker for the equipment is not tripped or turned off. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
  2. Check the power source: Verify that the power source is functioning properly by using a voltmeter to check the voltage at the outlet.
  3. Check the relays: If you hear the click of the relay, it could be a sign that the relay is working but not properly connected. Check the wiring and make sure that the relay is properly connected.
  4. Check the pump and motor: If the pump and motor are not working, it could be due to a problem with the motor, impeller, or other parts. Check for signs of damage, wear, or obstruction.
  5. Check the pressure switch: If the pressure switch is not working, it could prevent the booster pump from turning on. Test the pressure switch with a multimeter and replace it if necessary.
  6. Check the timer: If you have a timer, check that it is set properly and not malfunctioning.
  7. Check the control panel: If you have a control panel, check that it is working properly and not malfunctioning.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and still cannot get the equipment to turn on, it may be time to call a professional technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
