What does the E6 error mean
Hi Cheyenne,
Most of the time an E6 error code refers to a restriction of water in your power pack. When you don't have enough water flow the power pack shuts itself down so it does not over heat.
Possible reasons are dirty filters, air locks, restrictions of water flow,
Solutions are to make sure your water flow is as best as possible, clean your filters often, remove debris from your hot tub, and remove air locks from your power pack.

I have a Raypak 399L and the LCD screen shows Spa Set 100F. Under that it says sensor failure. It wont start up
It sounds like there may be a problem with the temperature sensor on your Raypak 399L spa heater. The "sensor failure" message indicates that the heater is not able to detect the temperature of the water in the spa. This can prevent the heater from starting up and operating properly.
Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the wiring: Make sure all of the wiring is securely connected and there are no loose wires or damaged connections.
- Check the temperature sensor: The temperature sensor is typically located in the heater itself. Make sure it is securely fastened and there are no visible signs of damage.
- Test the temperature sensor: Some models of the Raypak 399L have a diagnostic feature that allows you to test the temperature sensor. Consult your owner's manual or a service manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Replace the temperature sensor: If the temperature sensor appears to be damaged or is not functioning properly, you may need to replace it. This will typically require the help of a qualified service technician.
I hope this information is helpful. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

How to i fix this problem. 'air sensor shorted' on a Jandy LRZ
- Check the air sensor: The first step is to locate the air sensor and check for any visible issues. Make sure it is properly connected and not damaged.
- Check the wiring: If the air sensor appears to be in good condition, the problem may be with the wiring. Check the wiring for any loose connections or damaged wires. If you find any issues, you may need to repair or replace the wiring.
- Check the control board: The control board is responsible for managing the various functions of the pool heater. If the control board is malfunctioning, it can cause the air sensor to short out. You can check the control board by testing it with a multimeter. If you suspect the control board is the problem, you may need to replace it.
- Check the air intake: If the air intake is blocked or restricted, it can cause the air sensor to short out. Make sure the air intake is clear and unobstructed.
Alarm Types
There are many types of swimming pool alarms. Let’s examine each one of them:
Gate or Door Alarms
They are composed of a magnetic sensor that is placed on the door to the pool. If the door is opened while the pool gate alarm is activated, it will give an alert to the parents.
If you have a gate, it’s essential to have one of this, but should not be considered as the only surveillance tool.
Perimeter Alarm
It is composed by an array of sensors that are placed around the pool. That way, if someone trespasses it, it will give an alarm. Although it sounds as a perfect system, it has some limitations since it needs to be adjusted to your child’s height. What about visitor’s children? Additionally, one of the sensors could be moved by an animal, wind, rain or snow.
Wrist Alarm
They have become one of the preferred methods to control children. It is a waterproof device that is placed around the wrist of your child. That way, if he falls inside the pool, it will send a signal to the station, which will give an alarm to the parents. The two disadvantages of this product are that it is expensive and requires the child to use it all day long.
Floating Sensors
These devices are placed in the pool and detect the motion of objects inside the water. Although practical, a floating pool alarm is a bit expensive. Their main disadvantage is that if the sensor is removed from the water, there is no way to know if something is happening at the poo
MY EMERSON POOL MOTOR MODEL K63CXERL-4778 BURNED OUT. WHERE CAN I GET A NEW ONE?
Is the front of the motor where it connects to the pump round or squared with "ears " at the corners where the bolts are? Also, it is a 1HP correct?
If it's round, any 56J c-flange motor will work and if it's squared, a 56Y is the replacement. I order most of my replacement motors from Poolsupplyunlimited.com because they have great pricing and additional warranties that cover far past the manufacturers 1 year warranty.
