A uniden phone DECT 6.0. how do i turn on call waiting
Talk to your telephone service provider. There will be a fee.
Cindy Wells
(Uniden landline phones can make or receive calls; some models have a answering system. Most current models can even check if you have messages on the telephone provider's voice mail. (Sometimes, they'll give spurious voice mail information.) However, they don't have any built-in way of seeing any data (another call) from the telephone provider when the phone is in use.)
Vtech T1300 LINE IN USE displayed when line not in use
The "LINE IN USE" error message on a Vtech T1300 telephone can indicate that there is a problem with the telephone line or the telephone itself. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the telephone line: Make sure that the telephone line is properly connected to both the telephone and the wall jack. Unplug the telephone and plug it back in to ensure that the connections are secure.
- Check for a dial tone: Pick up the handset and listen for a dial tone. If there is no dial tone, the problem may be with the telephone line or the service provided by your telephone company.
- Check for a stuck button: Make sure that none of the buttons on the telephone are stuck. If a button is stuck, it can cause the telephone to think that the line is in use even when it is not.
- Check for a software issue: If all the above steps don't solve the problem, it could be a software issue with the telephone. You may need to reset the telephone to its factory settings or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it could be a problem with the telephone itself and should be checked by a technician or contact the manufacturer for support.
Panasonic kx-ts880mx display not working
Hi,
please power cycle the phone unit and check for the display screen when it's on the base again. If still having the issue, please attempt a factory reset of the device. Then, you can setup the phone just as you did when it was brand new. Otherwise, you might have to keep the receiver off of the display in order to allow the screen to show data as it used to.
Thank you.
Getting a busy signal when I'm trying to check the voicemails on MLS-18D.
It sounds like there may be a technical issue with your phone system after the power outage. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check the phone connections: Ensure that all the cables and wires are connected properly and securely. If you find any loose connections, plug them in firmly.
- Reboot the phone system: Try restarting your phone system by unplugging the power cord and waiting for 10-15 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Reset the phone system: Depending on your phone system, you may be able to perform a factory reset to return it to its default settings. This process will erase all the data and settings on the phone system, so make sure you have a backup of important data before doing this.
- Contact your service provider: If the issue persists, you may need to contact your phone service provider to troubleshoot the issue further. They may be able to identify any network or system problems that are causing the busy signal and provide additional support to help fix the issue.
I hope this helps you resolve the issue with your phone system and restore its functionality.

Why does only one of my Panasonic cordless phone display busy
That that handset has lost its "pairing/registration" with the base. Initially, try to pair it again with the base. Should that not be corrective, remove the battery of the handset. Allow it in the unpowered condition for a few hours. The idea is to reset the handset back to factory defaults. Thereafter, install the battery and re-charge. "Pair/register' with the base.
Says line is in use but that is not the case
Even if you have tried a power off reset, as in the posted link, it could be a timing thing to reset, sometimes a component has to discharge.
Following the links advice, try increasing amounts of time. What length is reasonable if it does not reset in minutes? Don't see that posted anywhere, maybe our, or overnight.

I have a GE model #29893GE1-B it is connected and plugged in, but no dial tone
Remove all the phones on the system. Remove all the handset batteries. Plug in one old style corded phone to the main phone jack, it is normally the one closest to the front door. Do you have dial tone? If not, it is your Telco. If you have a dial tone, plug all the other phones in testing for a dial tone as you go.
Can be this use for handpiece?
probably, except we have no idea what 'this' is and what you want to use it for.
'make model (what is it) in all questions please, with a question and some sort of explanation.

How can I use my B&O phones as intercom only? I have done this successfully, but I have a constant alert: no dial tone on both phones. Can I remove this alert?
If you want to use your Bang & Olufsen (B&O) headphones as an intercom only, without any phone-related functionality, you can try the following steps to remove the "no dial tone" alert:
- Disable the Bluetooth and/or cellular data connections on your B&O headphones and/or mobile device, if applicable.
- Check the user manual or settings menu of your B&O headphones to see if there is an option to disable or customize alerts or notifications. If so, try to find and disable the "no dial tone" alert or any other phone-related alerts.
- If you cannot find an option to disable or customize the alert on your B&O headphones, you may need to use a third-party app or tool to block or filter the alert. For example, you could try using a call blocker app that can silence or redirect calls and notifications.
- Alternatively, you could try to physically disconnect or remove any phone-related components or cables from your B&O headphones, such as the microphone, speaker, or charging cable, if possible. However, this may affect the functionality or quality of your headphones as an intercom.
Keep in mind that removing the "no dial tone" alert or disabling phone-related functionality on your B&O headphones may affect their warranty, compatibility, or safety. Therefore, it is recommended to consult the manufacturer or a qualified technician before making any modifications or repairs to your headphones.
