Take it to your local camera shop. They may know someone that does repairs. I would force Bushnell to do under warranty by forging an invoice.

It is normal that the light and fan come on when opening the door. If the magnetron is energising and emitting microwaves, it is extremely dangerous! Turn OFF the power to it. Put one cup of cold water into a glass measuring jug. Leave the door 1" open, Turn the power on and leave the room keeping well away from the open door edge. Come back after 5 minutes and power it off at the plug. Is the cold water now hot?
