One of the keys has lost its touch sensitivty on my Clavinova CVP-92.
There is a dual contact strip under the keys that the hammer (key) hits from the hinge end. When the hammer hits, the time it takes to close both contacts determines the level of pressure and gives a quiet, (light) or loud (hard) and the processor knows how loud to reproduce the note/s.
If a contact is damaged, there will be no control of the volume.
Replace the conract strip and felt pad.

My Kustom quad 100 Dfx cuts out when I pluck a string, and then it comes back on. It does this constant on and off loop every two seconds, what's the cause?
There could be several potential causes for the issue you described with your Kustom Quad 100 Dfx amplifier. Here are a few possibilities to consider:
- Power issue: Check the power source and connections. Ensure that the amplifier is receiving stable power without any fluctuations or interruptions. Faulty power cables, loose connections, or inadequate power supply could cause the intermittent cutting out and restarting.
- Speaker or speaker wiring: Examine the speaker(s) and the wiring connecting them to the amplifier. Loose or damaged speaker cables, faulty speaker connections, or even damaged speakers themselves could lead to the intermittent behavior you're experiencing.
- Overheating or thermal protection: Amplifiers often have built-in protection mechanisms to prevent overheating. If the amplifier is overheating, it may shut down intermittently to cool off before powering back on. Ensure that the amplifier has proper ventilation and isn't placed in an environment where it's prone to overheating.
- Internal component issues: There might be a problem with internal components such as transistors, capacitors, or resistors. These components can sometimes degrade or fail over time, causing intermittent issues like the one you described. In this case, it may require professional inspection and repair.
- Other external interference: Consider any other factors that could be causing interference with the amplifier. Nearby electrical devices, radio frequency interference, or even faulty instrument cables could potentially disrupt the amplifier's performance.
It's worth noting that troubleshooting electronic devices can be complex, and it's often best to consult with a qualified technician or reach out to the manufacturer's support for assistance. They will have the expertise and knowledge to diagnose and resolve the issue specific to your amplifier model.

Where is the fuse located on the marshal amplifier MG series 100 DFX 100
- fuse on the Marshall MG100DFX amplifier is located on the back panel of the amplifier, near the power cord.
To access the fuse, you will need to follow these steps:
- Unplug the amplifier from the power source.
- Locate the fuse holder on the back panel, near the power cord.
- Use a flathead screwdriver or other similar tool to gently pry open the fuse holder.
- Carefully remove the fuse from the holder by pulling it straight out.
- Inspect the fuse to see if it is blown or damaged. If the filament inside the fuse is broken or the fuse is discolored, it may be blown.
- If the fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the same rating. The Marshall MG100DFX amplifier uses a 2A, 250V slow-blow fuse.
- Insert the new fuse into the holder and press it down until it clicks into place.
- Close the fuse holder by gently pressing it back into place.
Once you have replaced the fuse, plug the amplifier back into the power source and turn it on to see if it is functioning properly. If the amplifier still does not work, you may need to have it serviced by a qualified technician.

(Wk-200) Volume wheel spinning all the way around and not stopping at "min" or "max"
If the volume wheel on your Casio WK-200 keyboard is spinning all the way around and not stopping at the "min" or "max" positions, it is likely that the potentiometer that controls the volume has become faulty or damaged. A potentiometer, or pot for short, is a type of variable resistor that is commonly used to control the volume on electronic devices.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Power off your keyboard and unplug it from the power source.
- Remove any batteries from the battery compartment.
- Locate the volume potentiometer inside the keyboard. It should be near the volume wheel and will have three pins or legs.
- Check the potentiometer for any visible signs of damage, such as cracks or broken pins.
- Gently wiggle the volume wheel while observing the potentiometer. If it appears to be loose or wobbly, it may need to be replaced.
- If you have experience with electronics and soldering, you may be able to replace the potentiometer yourself. Otherwise, it is recommended that you take your keyboard to a qualified service technician for repair.
If the issue persists after attempting these troubleshooting steps, it is likely that the potentiometer needs to be replaced. In any case, it is best to seek the assistance of a professional technician to avoid causing further damage to your keyboard.
