Sunbeam Mixmaster MX8900 Type533 - How do I get to the motor?

Service manual, but this isn't a motor issue, it is a speed controller issue. It has a PCB board. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1117962/Sunbeam-Mx8900.html#manual http://spares.bigwarehouse.com.au/common_faults.php?cPath=81834_84061_84067 Disassembly will probably be similar to the EM-3 here https://www.google.com/search?q=sunbeam+mixmaster+mx8900+disassembly Or return it to Sunbeam under a warranty claim. ..

I have the 7 speed Cuisinart hand mixer and it is stuck on 1 speed is there any way to fix this??

Hi, Please disconnect the power from the device for 5 minutes, reconnect and attempt to change the speed again. If that does not work, please eject the beaters and attempt the change the speed with them ejected before re-adding the beaters. Thank you.

I have a Dash Everyday Stand Mixer 3qt.

I expect 4 years later, you managed how to do it :>D Your post attracted spam which was removed, so it brought your question back to the top. It is a pity Chef Andrew didn't see it then! Spray all around the gap between bowl and base with WD40. Then use brute force. Next time, rub a little Vaseline around the surfaces that lock the bowl in place.

Does the Wolfgang puck stand mixer model bmsd0030 have an adjustment for bowl to beater clearance?

If it does, there will be a screw underneath in the centre. Most do it that way. KitchenAid have the screw on the face. https://www.fixya.com/support/t3608084-mixer_component_vibrates ..

Parts for 1977s Sunbeam Mixmaster 1-15F model stainless power plus turntable bowl & feet needed. Where to find?

ereplacementparts or direct from Sunbeam are the best retailers of spares, but at that age, you best bet is to buy another as a parts machine from eBay. https://www.google.com/search?q=Sunbeam+Mixmaster+1-15F+parts ..

Is is worth repairing a Kenwood Prospero stand mixer km24?

If you have a multi meter check the box caps and resistors for KM 2XX series then replace it whenever required. Some may differ in values like 0.15uF 275x2, 0.33uF 275X2 or 0.47uF 275X2 then resistors may also differ with different models but common to have 1.1k ohms 2watts. Also if caps are open it is good to check the 600V triac and replace it when giving out lower output. I also advise to clean the commutator esp when is is sparking a lot, you may use light sanding and clean it after. Check also if the tachometer is good, there is a resistor-like-coil hidden under a plastic tab with 2 wires. This gives feedback and via a magnet attached to the shaft. Check the motor brush if it is good or worn out. Lastly check all the switches because if one of them is not working properly you wont be able to let the motor run.

K-beater is stuck on our Kenwood Chef and we can't remove it

I couldn't remove the K-Beater as when I tried to turn it the whole mechanism turned with it. I couldn't even remove the splashguard! I was going to take it to the Kenwood factory (a few miles from home) but then I thought I'd give it one more go and this is what I did...
  1. Next to where the K-Beater attaches in the middle of the circular plate is a lug with a pointed-shape bolt on the end. Remove this with a spanner and the beater plus gear cog can be removed.
  2. Place some mole grips or wide pliers on a worktop and sit the cogged gear in to it and grip so that it won't turn.
  3. Now you should be able to remove the K-Beater!
Perhaps someone can suggest how to stop it happening again. I haven't attached anything since but will update this post if I have any other helpful tips.

Can i use it to make panko?

Panko are made with a special non-fermented bread that has no crust. You can however make good breadcrumbs with old hard bread and if you want it to be like Panko, pulse it and leave the crumbs coarse. I am a trade chef and use Panko a lot. Panko (???) is a type of flaky bread crumbs used in Japanese cuisine as a crunchy coating for fried foods, such as tonkatsu. Panko is made from bread baked by electrical current, which yields a bread without a crust, and then grinding the bread to create fine slivers of crumb.[1] It has a crisper, airier texture than most types of breading found in Western cuisine and maintains its texture baked or deep fried, resulting in a lighter coating.[2] Outside Japan, its use is becoming more popular in both Asian and non-Asian dishes. It is often used on seafood and is often available in Asian markets, speciality stores, and, increasingly, in many large supermarkets. Panko is produced worldwide, particularly in Asian countries, including Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Vietnam.
