I have an lg convection microwave oven. Can I use foil while using convection roasting?

I have a new Kitchen Aid Convection Microwave with air fryer. I've not yet used the air fryer, but today I put a pan with a roast and set to convection roast and turned it on. I put the aluminum foil over the top of the pan and it sparked. I don't know why this happened. I'd sure like someone to let me know.

Is Perfect clean Finish not perfect?!!!! How do I clean it to get rid of the cooked in pots in the texture?

When cool, I use a barbeque grille cleaner and that works well. Any maker is fine. Clean it off when rubbed in with a gentle non stick semi abrasive sponge, as it can burn into the coatings. Always cover your cooking to avoid splashes that can become troublesome to remove.

Microwave Panasonic NN T551 new does not start even after pressing clock button , no display to set clock . Icon comes only. As : after pressing stop button. No other button gives any response

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with your Panasonic microwave oven NNT551. If the clock button is not responding and you only see two dots when pressing the stop button, there might be a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Power Cycle the Microwave:
    • Unplug the microwave from the power outlet.
    • Wait for about 30 seconds.
    • Plug it back in and try setting the clock again.
  2. Check for Child Lock:
    • Some microwaves have a child lock feature that can prevent certain buttons from functioning. Check your manual to see if your model has this feature and how to disable it.
  3. Reset to Default Settings:
    • If there is an option in the manual or settings to reset the microwave to its default settings, try doing that.
  4. Inspect for Physical Damage:
    • Ensure there is no physical damage to the control panel or any other part of the microwave that may be affecting its functionality.

My wave guide is terribly burnt. Can it be fixed or do I need a new microwave? Hisense- Model no: H25MOMS7H.

If your microwave's waveguide cover is severely burnt, it is generally recommended to replace it rather than repair it. The waveguide cover is designed to be transparent and protect the antenna or magnetron from food splatter and grease. To replace the cover, follow these steps: 1. Identify the replacement part number from your microwave's user manual or contact the manufacturer. 2. Order the part from the manufacturer, authorized dealers, or reputable appliance parts suppliers. 3. Turn off the microwave to ensure safety. 4. Remove the old waveguide cover and secure it using screws or clips. 5. Place the new waveguide cover in the same position and secure it using the appropriate screws or clips. 6. Test the microwave to ensure the new waveguide cover is in place and functioning correctly. Replacement is crucial as a burnt or damaged waveguide can affect the microwave's performance and cause further damage to internal components. If you have any doubts or are uncomfortable with the replacement process, seek professional assistance or contact the manufacturer's customer support for guidance.

Kitchenaid oven racks fall

I am a bit late on this question, but just ended up in a rabbit hole of unanswered Kitchenaid questions The self cleaning features only serves to keep manufacturers in steady sales of parts. Quite simply the oven can only take those temperatures a few times until they break. The heat burns out elements, damages fans, door locks and worst of all damages control boards which are not far enough from the heat source. You problem sounds like the walls of the oven have buckled in the heat so the racks no longer fit. Too late now, but you should have taken Kitchenaid to court, the oven was not fit for purpose under the description they used to sell it to you. Never use the self cleaning feature as stated here https://www.google.com/search?q=self-cleaning+oven+temperature Never Ever use the self clean feature. We see damage here every couple of weeks. The worst was a burned control board on an oven that all parts were obsolete, so the self clean cost a thousand bucks! Self-cleaning ovens bring the heat so you don't have to spend hours scrubbing. Traditional self-cleaning cycles heat the oven between 800°F and 900°F, helping turn soil and spills to a powdery ash you can then wipe away. They utilize only heat-no chemicals-and are built to withstand high temperatures. (Says Maytag who love selling elements, door locks and other parts),

Where is the fuse located on a kitchaid microwave

It is located behind the key panel. UNPLUG THE UNIT FIRST.
Remove top grill (2 sinked screws on top)
Now remove the single screw on top of the key panel. Barefully slide out the keypad up and out. The smart people of kitchenaid put the dang fuse jammed between the fan housing and the right wall. Remove the entire bottom plate that holds the lights and such... I think 8 screws. Now remove 2 screws that hold down the fan housing. Now you going to have to use a screw driver and some wiggling to move the plastic housing out of the way enough to pop and slide out the fuse and replace. To test you can use a continuity tester and place it between the fuse. There is nothing visible on this fuse (250Volt 20A fuse Fast Acting I think) e.g. you can't see that the fuse is broken or not. Make sure no wires are pinched while putting it all back.
