I have a Dacor PGM 365 5 burner cooktop. Power burner igniter continues to spark when pot is on burner. When I remove pot igniter stops sparking. Thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is the the igniter has some faulty insulation and the pot is completing the circuit, or the pot is pressing something. They do have an igniter service kit. https://www.dacorparts.com/content/DacorLookups/PGM365-1.pdf ..

I need a manual for a Jenn-air cooktop PN 201595D

Jenn Air are high end and are Secretive with Service Manuals. You need a Service call and a whole load of money. It will be the controller or the board, or crack in the burner element. Even the controller switch is 150 bucks! https://www.google.com/search?q=Jenn-air+PN+201595D+manual https://www.appliancepartspros.com/search.aspx?model=c221%20pn%20201595e ..

Thermador CET366FS Cooktop. I need some instruction on how to replace the control module.

Thermador are top of the range appliances and they don't expect you to repair them yourself, you call for a service engineer. Service manuals are hard to come by. There is a service manual for a wall oven and the control panel may be similar. They look to have mounting clips. The buttons are proximity detectors, so not conductive. https://www.google.com/search?q=thermador+cet366fs+cooktop+service+manual+pdf They are made by Whirlpool so this might help. Wherever you got the board from should supply the instructions on the same way that Repair Clinic do. ..

On my induction hob, 2 discs on the right side stopped working at the same time, I put the pan on and it shows as if it hadn't been detected, the same pan works on the remaining 2 discs on the left

A) https://hobguide.com/induction-hob-cannot-detect-pan/ B) https://hobguide.com/induction-hob-not-working-on-one-side/ You are advised to not try to get into the electronics of the induction hob. Such is dangerous. The unit uses 3 phase electricity, something unlikely to be addressed by DIY activity if you want to be safe. Check your warranty. I assume this is not a matter of pans of the wrong material or size being deployed. This well may require a technician to sort out. The brand/model has not been identified so I cannot direct you to further resources. Your user manual surely provides a company name where you might seek some customer support.

Wiring for GE Cooktop 1960s

I have an early 1970s GE, and we keep saying when it breaks down, we will replace it, but apart from replacing elements, it just goes on and on. Unfortunately, neither of your numbers give results. We aren't Electrolux, we are FixYa dot com, and you appear to have fixed it. Resetting the board would simply involve cutting the power to it. Induction cooktops are a relatively new innovation to the home markets are in general, all Induction cooktops fail due to failing electrical components. I have a 50 year career in catering, and 10 years with induction units. Even the catering quality units with a single hob that cost $1,800 fail in 18 months to 2 years. Jenn Air C221 element only goes to high?

Based on the symptoms described, it is possible that the issue lies with the ceramic element that the burners connect to at the back of the burner unit. This could be causing a short circuit between the two burners, which is preventing the large burner from being adjusted lower when both burners are on. It is also possible that there is an issue with the wiring or connections between the two burners, which is causing a similar short circuit. However, given that the smaller burner appears to be working fine, this seems less likely. Another potential cause of this issue could be a problem with the control board or another component of the stove's electrical system. However, given that replacing the infinite switch and receptacle for the large burner did not resolve the issue, it seems less likely that this is the root cause. In order to determine the exact cause of this issue, it may be necessary to consult with a professional appliance repair technician who can diagnose and repair the stove.

Domain ceramic cooktop cec70 will not turn off

If your ceramic cooktop model CEC70 is not turning off, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue: 1. Check the controls: Ensure that you have properly followed the instructions to turn off the cooktop. Some models may require you to press and hold a specific button or combination of buttons to power off the cooktop. Refer to the user manual for your specific model for detailed instructions on turning it off. 2. Power cycling: Try power cycling the cooktop by turning off the power at the circuit breaker or unplugging it from the power source. Leave it unplugged or with the power off for a few minutes before plugging it back in or turning the power back on. This can sometimes help reset the controls and resolve any temporary issues. 3. Control lock: Check if the cooktop has a control lock feature that might be activated. Some models have a lock function to prevent accidental changes to the settings. Look for a button or key combination that activates or deactivates the control lock. Refer to the user manual for instructions specific to your model. 4. Contact customer support: If the issue persists, it is recommended to reach out to the manufacturer's customer support or consult a professional technician who specializes in appliance repairs. They will be able to provide further guidance or arrange for a service visit to diagnose and fix the problem. Remember, when dealing with electrical appliances, it's always important to prioritize safety. If you encounter any unusual or potentially hazardous situations, such as smoke, sparks, or strong odors, immediately turn off the power supply and contact a professional technician for assistance.

Jenn-Air Expressions Downdraft Gas Stovetop Model CVGX2423B - Unable to Get Nut Off Burner Base to Replace Igniters

It is possible to use WD-40 to help loosen the nuts, but it may not be enough on its own to remove them. Here are some steps you can try to remove the nuts:
  1. Turn off the gas supply to the stovetop and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Use a wrench that fits the nut snugly and try turning it counter-clockwise to loosen the nut.
  3. If the nut is stuck, try spraying a generous amount of WD-40 onto the threads of the nut and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. After the WD-40 has had a chance to penetrate the threads, try turning the nut again with the wrench.
  5. If the nut still won't budge, try gently tapping the wrench handle with a hammer to help loosen the nut.
  6. If all else fails, you may need to call a professional technician to remove the nuts safely.
It's important to note that improper removal of the nuts could cause damage to the stovetop or cause a gas leak, which could be dangerous. If you are unsure about how to proceed, it's best to call a qualified technician to help you.
