do you have user's manual with wiring diagram? if not try H.B. If you get one, there is a diode that keeps your machine from frying from over-voltage. Kinda like a fuse, but is not a fuse. If you can check voltage across it, it is not the diode. That is a simple start and the most common problem for not starting.

Depends on how old it is. It could have bad brushes in the motor or it may have burned up. Do you smell burned insulation etc.? If it just quit there may be a problem with the switch or the cord. Wiggle things and replug etc. to see if that is the problem. Otherwise, you may need a voltage tester to check for power.

Need more info. Maybe there is a switch on the base for the cover that is not being pushed on when cover is applied or something similar. It is hard to say unless you can list the brand and model. sometimes the cord can have an open wire. Try to wiggle and replug into the outlet. Also, make sure you did not trip the gfci outlet that it is plugged into.

motor has burned out field winding s and is not capable of running under load the seller knew that and you bought it hope you didn't pay more than a few dollars for it

IF there is NO plastic on it, you can use heat from something like a heat gun or oven to bake it off. You might also try something like CLR or muratic acid BUT they are not that expensive to replace.

you have to twist the top round so that the switch is pressed in place so the power can be turned on, from new it takes a few times to get it to click in place this is the safety device so it cannot be turned on by mistake.

to the person. champion juicer running hot. if your blade is dull it will run hot bcuz its harder to turn and gets clogged easy. look online for new or less used blade.
