My ice cream maker spins but not making icecream

* Ice cream makers are small tub partial filled with cream, sugar, and flavor. * This cream tub is placed inside a larger bucket containing ice and salt (usually rock salt). The salt makes the melted water almost as cold as the ice. (colder than regular unsalted water) * Creme in contact with the metal tub gets frozen and creates a layer of frozen creme around the tub. * The frozen creme is soft due to the fat in the creme preventing the liquid from freezing hard. * Scraping away the semi frozen cream allows more liquid cream to freeze on the cleaned sides of the inner tub. * with continuous scraping the cream will form a semi frozen "Milkshake" like thick liquid. It will not harden as the large ice bucket would have melted all the ice by then. * Remove the semi-frozen cream. Serve immediately or pack in container to continue freezing cream. It should harden when left over nite in freezer. * Using bucket; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_IFfVdOE2g * Using bowl; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7aUHywPnog * Using Ziplock; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-69y9GsS_4 * Enjoy! Is there a difference between cream of tartar and tartaric acid

Cream of tartar is ground, partially neutralized tartaric acid, and not generally a substitute. In the end, they recommend: If your recipe calls for tartaric acid and you don't have it, using cream of tartar might work. For every teaspoon of tartaric acid, replace with two teaspoons of cream of tartar

Hardly think it would beva medical emergency unless the child has allergies. On the other hand the child could get pretty hyper and of course , like most of us, crave ice cream now and then

Product in mix hopper freezes adj. is all the way min.794 taylor

Adjustment for hopper temp is center small blue dial on left touch control panel. Marked mix. Counterclockwise is warmer. If it's both hoppers freezing up and that's turned warmer, probably the thermistor probe. If it's just the left, low on refrigerant. There's a leak.

How to adjust the viscosity of slush on my taylor 390-27. the compressor never shuts off and the slush gets way to stiff.

Circuit board in control box in left side. Two red lites on same. Adjust proximity sensor in or out that's sensing rotating torque coupling drive shaft mates with when product liquid till one lite stays on all the time. very small blue blue box on circuit board with tiny brass screw that turns to adjust product stiffness. Other lite lites when viscosity achieved. if torque coupling, proximity sensor or circuit board have issues or brix of product off this won't fix issue. also torque pin must be place to stop center piece in barrel from rotating to load torque coupling as product thickens

I have a taylor ice cream machine thats keeps a constant beep even when ice cream is ready model 339-27

I'm not 100% on this model but here goes.... A "beeping" tone will sound to alert you of a fault. To discontinue the tone, access the Operator Menu and enter Option B. Correct the fault, then press the OFF (<--) key, and the tone will stop. FYI Fault Description (Option B) This option lists any faults detected by the control and allows the operator to clear them from the system. When a fault is detected it will be displayed on the second line of the LCD. Pressing the MENU/SEL key will display the next fault found or return the display to the Operator Menu if no additional faults exist. If the OFF key is pressed when a fault is displayed, all faults that have been corrected will be cleared from the LCD upon returning to the Operator Menu. To return to the Operator Menu, press the MENU/SEL key. for 337..... Screen display..... The POWER SWITCH OFF screen indicates that the power switch is in the OFF position. POWER SWITCH OFF =- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -=- -= The normal operating screen will display the current mode of operation and the level of mix in each mix hopper. (The power switch is in the ON position.) MODE: OFF MIX: L = OK Operator Menu _________________________________ The Operator Menu allows the operator to access operational information and to set non-critical functional parameters. The Operator Menu also allows access to the Service Menu. (Note: Only service technicians who know the access code may use the Service Menu.) Operator Options A Exit From Menu B Fault Description C System Information D Current Conditions E Service Menu Pressing the OFF (<--) key will move the cursor one position to the left. Pressing the STBY (-->) key will move the cursor one position to the right. Both keys include the "wraparound" feature. This means that when the cursor reaches the end of the option, any further movement in the same direction causes the cursor to "wraparound" (to be placed at the opposite end of the option listing) here's the manual if you don't have it.... http://www.taylorfreezersales.com/op_man/0337op0.pdf Best to you hope this helps a little
