Do Australians feel comfortable with 12 out of their 29 Prime Ministers being English (within one generation) and 15 being British?

The country has maintained its ties with the U. K..and monarchy. aIndeed, their prime minister can be dismissed via this link. Historically, it was settled largely by the English. Their government is based on the parlimentary model. Bear in mind that Australia is a relatively new country although an ancient continent with a native population having lived there about 60 thousand years. Part of the population would like Australia to be a Republic, the other part would like it to remain tied to the U. K. Although there is definitely an Australian culture, it is closer to British culture than U. S. culture. It does have some world class universities. One PM could speak Mandarin Chinese but was clearly Anglo. There is a tradition of giving people a fair go although there is more friction arising from conflicting ideas about settlement of refugees from the Middle East. Thus far, they are content to make use of talent where they find it and that includes the population from the U. K..although there are colorful names attached to this segment. You certainly see more British TV in Australia than you are ever exposed to in the U. S.. There is no restriction regarding country of origin for the PM's office, unlike the U. S. presidency.

Was pearl harbor the cause of hiroshima and nagsaki?

It has been asserted that what was given the most weight in the decision was the estimate of deaths of allied troops in defeating Japan in any other way. Shortly after the explosions, the Soviet Union declared war on Japan. Obviously, both the United States and the Soviet Union considered the nuclear explosions likely to conclude the war. Pearl Habor did not cause the development of the weapon. German scientists had been racing to develop an atomic weapon. The U. S. won the race after Germany was defeated.

What is the comparison between the great compromise and the virginia PLAN

Both the New Jersey and Virginia Plans dealt with how the states should be represented in Congress. The Virginia Plan favored states with a large population, which back then, meant states like Virginia and Massachusetts. The Virginia Plan said that states should be represented according to their population. The greater the population of a state, the more representatives they would have. The New Jersey Plan favored the small states, such as New Jersey and Rhode Island. This plan called for every state to receive the same number of representatives, regardless of population. The Constitutional Convention ended up adopting both plans through what was called the Great Compromise. The New Jersey Plan would be used in the upper house, or Senate. Every state would receive two representatives--no more, no less. The Virginia Plan was used in the lower house, or House of Representatives. There, every state receives representatives based on the state's population. These representatives can be adjusted as states gain or lose population. What were the similarities and differences between the Virginia and New...

Subject and verb statments "Margarite-Draw" are they in agreement can you show me an example? subject and verb are in colums need to show that they are in agreement

"Margarite draw" is not correct because the subject, "Margarite" is singular and the verb "draw" is plural, so they do not agree. " Margarite and John draw" is correct because the subject ,"Margarite and John" is plural and agrees with the plural verb "draw". "Margarite draws" is also correct because the singular verb "draws" agrees with the singular subject, "Margarite." The other two examples are correct: plural subject and verb in "girls sing", and plural subject and verb in "we play" I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/bill_f6ca18ca1db028ed

Consider the following baskets of goods A. 8food 3clothing B 6food 6clothing C. 3food 3clothing. if preferences satisfy all requirements,is preferred to C or C to A? Eplain your

Given the r equirements are unknown, if you are stranded it is better to have 8 food than 3 food because you will las tt longer. The amount of clothing becomes irrelevant. On the other hand, if you were in subzero temperature, the more clothes means the more layers and you might remain thawed out long enough to eat a bit. So, the answer changes dependent upon the external temperature. Choice Af it is warm. Choice B if it is cold. Choice C is reserved for Goldilocks and the 3 Bears where she makes sure all the bears are clothed and fed and then runs out as fast as she can. Sorry, I don't know the requirements so I can not figure the real answer.

What laws did the Reagan administration enact that benefit the American people TODAY?

His deregulation of banks possibly helped the wealthy. His military budget essentially made the Soviet Union collapse from an inability to compete financially. The collapse of a system that perversely destroyed personal freedom doubtlessly kept us from direct conflict.

I'm a stupid 15 year old and I tired a cig, I smoked 4 before I realized what I was doing and stopped. Can I get cancer form only 4 cigs?

Cig are injurious to health and lead to the cancer no matter how much you used in a day. If you used cig in low amount then you have more time and cig effects will take time to appear and if you smoke badly then it's effects will not take time and appear and may lead to cancer. So better advice is you don't have to take smoke.
