When I touch the power button on my Pitboss vertical pellet smoker it turns on, but with in seconds, the power goes out and I have to reset the socket. please help. What can I do?
When you say reset the socket do you mean, you have to reset the breaker for the circuit that the AC plug is on, because the breaker has tripped? If that is the case, that means that the smoker is shorting inside and drawing too many amps. Edit; can you be more specific what you mean by reset the plug?. Edit: if this is an outdoor socket then it is likely a Ground Fault Interrupter socket (has a button on it called reset) > if the GFI is tripping it means your smoker is shunting AC power to ground (and possibly to the metal body of the cooker - which is an electrocution hazard. Same advice applies. Stop using it ASAP.As far as what is shorting, at a guess it would be the heating element. but please do not continue using / testing it until it has been fixed.Your user manual is available from pitbosshttps://images.pitboss-grills.com/catalog/manuel/77350_20171005.pdf

GRILL REPAIR
This is not a question, try reading it back to yourself and see what you would think if you knew nothing about what kind of grill you have, and what is wrong with it.

Low lp pressure to all appliances
Is the tank nearly empty? LPG should supply at around 3.5kpa. Make sure the new tank regulator is on the correct way. There is an arrow cast onto the body showing the correct gas flow. Not sure why there is a reg on the stove. LPG units are usually only controlled from the bottle regulator. Natural gas appliances have the reg on the appliance itself. Get a gas Tech if unsure to be safe.
