Remove the metal plate cover at the back and check that the wires to the element are well connected and that the element are in good condition, if they are corroded you may need to replace them.https://www.yaoawe.com/collections/masterbuilt-heating-element

Traeger 075 tripping GFI continually

May be too much moisture on the hot rod. From Traeger: Why won't my Grill Ignite?
  1. If your grill is plugged into an electrical outlet with a GFI (ground fault interrupter) plug, chances are the hot rod has absorbed or been exposed to too much moisture and is leaking to ground causing the plug to trip.
  2. Open your cooking chamber lid, remove cooking grill, angled drip pan and U-shaped firepot cover. Is there ash build up in the firepot and/or around the firepot? If so, this needs to be cleaned out. The ash is choking out the fire.
  3. Check the fuse on the back of the control board. To do this, first UNPLUG the grill from the electrical outlet. Then, unscrew the control board and look at the fuse-is it blown or not?
  4. If the fuse is good, check for power by switching the colored plugs first. Unplug the purple plug and the orange plug. Plug the purple plug into the orange plug. Now plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn the grill on. Does the induction fan operate? If so, you will need a new hot rod and fuse. If not, you will need a new control board. Unplug the purple from the orange and reconnect the plugs together to their correct color plug.
  5. Always start your grill on the SMOKE setting.

Very low flame, like very little gas is getting thru, tank is ful

Okay, what you are dealing with is called "vapor-lock". The way these grills need to be turned off is, close the tank valve first and after the burners go out, then turn the burners off. The way you are doing it is trapping the gas and you are getting a weak flame. Fortunately this is an easy fix. First, light the grill by turning the gas valve open, then turn the burners on to light the grill...as soon as that is done, close the gas valve on the tank then turn the burners off. Repeat this procedure until you get a good flame. If this procedure hasn't fixed the problem after the third time, you need a new regulator and regulators are easy to find in any home improvement store like Lowe's or Home Depot.

I need a new regulator

Any A200-0 type regulator should do the job (it is visually similar to the old one but may be made of different materials - aluminum or brass). Mine original regulator from BRINKMANN model 852-200-0 - the plastic cap has broke from the brass regulator body, - cheap construction. But the burner stove, and the connector hose and the threaded end is still in perfect condition. The problem with this stove is the hose end connection that connects to the stove itself - it is UNIQUE!.. I purchased a simple Coleman A200-0 compatible regulator, unscrewed the regulator from the metal tube and screwed it in old threaded end of my rubber hose regulator connector with addition of threadlocker paste to the threaded end of my old burner connector hose. Luckily for me female threaded hole in the new regulator was exact same diameter and thread type. It worked like a charm and grill now works like new! If you CANT unscrew new regulator from the metal tube - you can ultimately cut the metal tube a few inches away from the regulator, flare a little the end of cut pipe, cut the old rubber connector hose at the threaded end connection, use 1/2" treaded stainless clamp, tighten it over the pushed end of rubber hose over the flare end of the freshly cut off metal tube. Flaring the end of cut metal tube will give extra grip for the rubber hose to stop slipping off it, tightening the Stainless Clamp ring over this connection will make it tight and secure! I personally bought this one and it worked perfect + you get additionally a converter for a 20Lbs Gas tank! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J2F9QBH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Hello I have a Char-Broil grill model# 463268706.

You not only have to have the correct thread size, you also have to have the correct orifice size. The size of the orifice varies from grill to grill which is why "universal kits" don't work on all grills. You will have to contact the manufacturer and get the correct orifice size, or get the orifices from the manufacturer. If you need help, let me know.

Weber Q 1000 Portable BBQ Grill. It seems like the regulator works when brass pinhole fitting is taken off the end of it...............

Question edited for clarity and spelling 'oraffice' to orifice. Never drill holes! The size of jets is set to very high tolerances by the factory. The burner tube on this is a P-shape which makes it problematical to clean out the spider nests that live in there in the winter. It is a simple system, the gas shoots from the jet and mixes with air in the entrance to the burner tube and burns through the hole in the top. The only other possibility is that the pressure regulator needs adjusting. You adjust it with the burner set on the lowest position to achieve a flame that is low and stable and doesn't go out. https://www.weber.com/US/en/help/schematics/browse/50060001 ..
