How do you replace burners on Jenn-air 720-0337

First, remove the grill grates, then the flame tamers to access the burners. As you face the grill, carefully lift up the end of the burner farthest from you (It may or may not have a cotter pin holding it in. If it does, remove the cotter pin with a pair of needle nose pliers). As you lift it up, it should pull away from the burner orifice (inside the control panel). And that's all there is to it.To reinstall the burner, do everything in reverse. But, there is no need to replace the cotter pin. It was there for shipping purposes.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Happy Grilling!!

Hello. I have a FireMagic built in BBQ. I had to replace the battery. The BBQ works and so does the ignitor, but now my ignitor clicks all the time. What can I do?

Question moved from Cars and Trucks category. You have a closed circuit switch somewhere. If depends on if you turn on the gas and in doing so it clicks and ignites, or whether you turn on the gas and and press a button where the battery is? The battery ones are simple and just have a spring that keeps the battery and the contact apart. Make sure it is in the right way around. For the type with microswitches, you would have to test each one with a multimeter.

I have Vermont Castings remote 82220A-2. It works fine with new batteries which it burns out within a day or two of installing them. How do I correct that?

If your Vermont Castings remote is burning through batteries quickly, there could be several reasons for this issue:
  1. Weak signal: If the remote is having trouble connecting to the receiver, it may require more power to send the signal. This can drain the batteries quickly. Try moving closer to the receiver or replacing the receiver's batteries.
  2. Short circuit: A short circuit in the remote can cause it to draw too much power and drain the batteries quickly. Check the remote for any signs of damage or wear and tear, and try replacing it if necessary.
  3. Battery type: Make sure you are using the correct type of battery for your remote. Using the wrong type of battery can cause it to drain quickly.
  4. Remote programming: If the remote is not properly programmed or is programmed for a different device, it may require more power to send signals. Check the remote's manual for instructions on how to properly program it for your device.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact Vermont Castings customer support for further assistance or consider replacing the remote.

Picture diagram of GE 4 burner wiring instructions

I can provide you with some general instructions on how to wire a 4 burner stove. First, ensure that the stove is disconnected from any power source. Identify the four burners and their respective control knobs. Each burner should have a set of wires connected to it. Remove the control panel cover by unscrewing any screws or bolts that hold it in place. Identify the wiring connections for each burner. The wiring should be color-coded, with one wire usually being black and the other white or red. Disconnect the old wiring connections by unscrewing any screws that hold them in place. Be sure to keep track of which wires go where. Connect the new wiring to the burner by attaching the black wire to the burner's terminal labeled "L1" and the white or red wire to the burner's terminal labeled "L2." Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each burner. Replace the control panel cover and secure it with any screws or bolts. Reconnect the stove to the power source and test each burner to ensure that it is working properly. It's important to note that these are general instructions, and the specific wiring diagram for your GE 4 burner stove may vary depending on the model and year. If you're unsure about the wiring or feel uncomfortable working with electricity, it's always best to consult a professional electrician or appliance repair technician.

Can use gas for my liquid porpane grill

Yes you can as long as your home uses LPG. You can not use 2 regulators. If your outside line is after your home regulator you need to eliminate the regulator on your grill. LPG products operate on 11" of water column, that's about 1/2" PSI.
Thanks for using Fixya

What am I doing wrong? The grease does not flow into the outside bucket on my Traeger

There could be a few reasons why the grease is not flowing into the outside bucket on your Traeger smoker. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Make sure the grease bucket is properly positioned and securely attached to the smoker. It should be placed directly underneath the grease drain hole.
  2. Ensure that the grease bucket is not full or overflowing. If the bucket is full, the grease will not be able to flow into it and will instead build up inside the smoker.
  3. Check that the grease drain hole on the smoker is not clogged. Grease and food particles can build up and block the hole, preventing the grease from flowing into the bucket. Clean the grease drain hole with a pipe cleaner or toothpick.
  4. Check that the grease bucket is not too cold. If the grease bucket is too cold, the grease may solidify and block the drain hole. Keep the grease bucket in a warm place to help the grease flow more easily.
  5. Check your owner manual, if there is any specific troubleshooting steps provided, that can be helpful to solve the issue.
If none of these solutions solve the problem, it's best to contact the manufacturer or a professional for further assistance.

CAN YOU USE THE TRAEGER SMOKER TO HEAT SOMETHING WITHOUT GETTING A SMOKE FLAVOR

Yes, it is possible to use a Traeger smoker to heat something without getting a smoke flavor. One way to do this would be to use the "smoke" setting on the smoker to burn off any residual oils or flavors from previous smoking sessions, and then turn the setting to "high" or "bake" to heat the food without smoke. Another option would be to wrap the food in foil before heating it in the smoker, which can help to prevent smoke from permeating the food. It's important to note that even if you don't use the smoke feature on the Traeger, there may be still some smoke flavor present in the food, as the wood pellets will produce some smoke when they're heated, so you may want to consider using an alternative heating source if you want to completely eliminate the smoke flavor.

On a swiss grill 460 how do you remove the igniter module? I can see it but don't know how to remove it.

To remove the igniter module from a Swiss Grill 460, you will need to locate the module and then follow these steps:
  1. Disconnect the power supply to the grill to ensure safety.
  2. Locate the igniter module. It is typically located near the burners and may be secured with screws or clips.
  3. If the igniter module is secured with screws, use a screwdriver to remove the screws and gently lift the module out.
  4. If the igniter module is secured with clips, gently pry the clips away from the module with a flat tool such as a screwdriver or butter knife. Be careful not to damage the clips or the module.
  5. Once the clips or screws have been removed, gently lift the igniter module out of the grill.
I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

2 out of 3 burners working 2 flames not blue

In the grilling category, so this is a BBQ Grill? Yellow flame is too much oxygen and not enough gas. It is normally cause by spider nests or other debris in the venturi tube where the gas and air mix. One is blocked completely. You can buy tubular brushes for this job. 'make model (what it is)' as the first three words in all questions please.
