The thing I learned that the only thing a normal person / manager / owner could do is clean the condenser fins. anything else is the domain of the refrigeration engineer. It could be stuck in defrost mode if the defrost cycle is like a heat pump and reverses the cycle to heat the evaporator and cool the condenser. The other possibility is a faulty control board. The only way to fix is to call for service. Tell the engineer everything that happened, as it will speed his diagnosis. True are a great brand. Things that also need checking, circulation fan working and that the defrost timer and defrost heater, and electronic thermostat are working correctly. Refrigeration is not a handyman job. ..

Just fixed a similar model from Electrolux. It's not the fan that was faulty, but its transformer on the pcb. The fan has its own pcb, a small one on the left side and is controlled via 230V from the main board. It's easy to remove, turn around and measure.

Call the engineer back, it is not fixed. It is still leaking or there is another issue like the thermostat or the circulation fan.

Chest freezers have them on the outside behind the grille where the compressor is. Upright freezers usually has electronic controls on the door. You give o clue as to what type you have or what model you have. You can easily turn it off by removing the wall plug! Or you can find the manual.
