Have you tried to rotate the lid in the back-on direction, press any interlock, then twist off? The interlock may intentionally jam ("double lock") until the remove-off pressure is released.

I am no expert on food blenders but look between the teeth of the drive gear. Some models have a tiny grub screw hidden between the teeth as a locking pin into the spindle. unscrew it until it just sticks out. Don't take it all the way out as your guaranteed to drop it and lose it. (Yes, I've done that!). Other than that it could be a circlip inside the top or a tiny nut/screw under a small covering cap. Some are even a 'push on' fit. I DON'T recommend just yanking on it. You'll break it completely that way. Some blenders, especially the cheaper ones, are deliberately designed not to be repaired so you have to buy a new one instead. I hope this helps

The oddball Mercedes Benz emblem screw heads can be removed by a tamperproof bit. I bought a kit with various versions of these, and by filing the tip to a basic Phillips-like point, the screws came out. There are 2; 1 under the little corner flap, the other under the pry-off green knob. Then the top assembly gives access to the switches regarding low, high and pulse.

The DLC-8F bowl will not work for the DLC-8M, as I understand the parts list for the 11 cup food processors. However, this site, https://www.kitchenworksinc.com/cuisinart-dlc-8-4-piece-tritan-bowl-kit/ , has a work bowl for the DLC-8 food processor.
