The owner's manuals for the Electrolux (now Aerus) B-8, B-9 (Floor Pro and similar models), and the TriStar ProStar shampooer (same machine as the Floor Pro) have just been uploaded.

The rectifier is in the top end of the motor. Take the cover off and then the top end plate of the motor. With the bolts removed, you will have to tap and rock the plate to evenly remove it. Carefully look at the marks on the old and new part to be shur you do not make a mistake in the wiring. A drawing and photo might be nice too.

The switch has gone bad. Very common on these. The contacts in the switch wear out and then get welded together. The motor draws a lot of power when first started and this is ******* the switch.

Any janitorial supply in your town, or ebay. Your Home Depot or Lowe's may have them as well as Amazon.

Use your volt meter to test the battery voltage. It should be at least 12.4v . I this is good, follow the voltage through the ignition switch and the relay if it has one, on to the starter. If you have power on to the starter, but still no crank, the starter is bad. Hope this helps, Robert

What exactly is the question here? Is this a corded electric Scrubber or a battery one?

The manual for the Electrolux B-8 Shampooer has just been uploaded.

These are specially made with to suit the particular requirement and there is no way but to get this replacement from the manufacturer. the other way out is to use the two remaining ones on either sides for a brighter light and use 10" pipes of PVC or transparent tubings to give a special shade. Check this out with the availability at a plumbing store. You can cut portions on the opaque shade and use acrylic pieces to be stuck within to give an art look.

The connectors are that thick the cable is thin.
