I have changed the filter but now not working properly

A clogged intake or impeller will still try to suck in water, but will only make noise and actually do nothing, where as a filter with a clogged motor won't turn on at all. The solution to a clogged motor is fairly simple. Just open up the filter, take it apart piece by piece, and unclog it. If you need to, you can use your hands, use lightly compressed air, or if the motor itself is water proof, just blast some water through the motor. One of the most common problems that people experience with their fish tank filters is that there is a loss of suction, or no suction at all. You see, fish tank filters use something called an impeller that is motor operate. This impeller serves to suck water from your fish tank into the intake tube, through the filter media, and back out the other side in the form of perfectly clean water. Another pretty serious problem that many people experience with their fish tank filters is that there is an improper flow rate. Now, this is not actually a problem with the filter itself, but it does affect your fish. You see, different fish need different water flow rates, with some liking a heavy flow to swim against and some which can't handle fast flowing water and just get swept around the tank. Whatever the case may be and whatever the solution to your fish tank filter problem is, you need to take care of it as soon as possible. Without proper filtration your water will suffer from a buildup of waste, chemicals, and toxins, plus it won't be properly oxygenated either, all things which can rather quickly lead to the unfortunate demise of your fish.

Why should I use an air pump in my aquarium?

Aquarium air pump allows for better humidification in conjunction with perlite, and lava rocks. It also provides automatic aeration pushing the C02 up and out the FAE holes in the PMP lid, so there is no need for misting or fanning.

I need aquarium filter for my 300l tank. Would you help me with the choice?

I think, a sponge filter is for you - simple, cheap and effective. It provides mechanical and biological filtration, once the sponge has grown bacterial colonies. Filters come in a variety of sizes shapes, and pore sizes to adapt them to an almost filtration need. Sponges give excellent results in ponds, saltwater, and freshwater. They can be used as an addition to another filter, such as a canister filter, or as the only source of aquarium filtration - https://great-filter.com/best-sponge-filter/

What kind of filter should I buy for my aquarium?

In my opinion, power filters are the best. They are easy to maintain and are also quite economical. The most common style of power filter hangs on the back of your tank. A siphon will pull water from the tank, eliminating any bacteria and returning filtered water back into the aquarium.

How much gravel do I need to buy to fill my aquarium?

When filling your aquarium, you will be doing so according to depth. Most people prefer a 2" depth of gravel in their tanks. Bags of gravel/sand are sold by weight however so you will need to calculate the volume you need and multiply it by the weight of a liter of the gravel you choose.

Master flow mf-1040 pressure guage inoperative

This is an air compressor not for fish, take the gauge off and see if there is a blockage. Run the compressor without the gauge and see if you feel air coming out of the hole where the gauge goes. If you do then the gauge is bad and it will need to be replaced. Masterflow should be a company online contact them for a replacement.

Do you have any Artificial tree parts catalogs? for a NOMA artificial Christmas tree?

Hello, Lindsey - To add to the advice from Andrew Taylor, I find that the NOMA brand name is owned by the Canadian Tire Corp., to be sold in the Canadian Tire stores. See this website: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/noma-lighting-heating-cooling.html Among other things, near the top of that web page you will find a link to the Canadian Tire weekly flyer and catalogue. You may wish to contact Canadian Tire Corp. directly and ask your questions. This is the link to the Canadian Tire Corp. Customer Service contact information: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/customer-service.html?adlocation=LOL_CustomerService_SiteFooter_en In the right side bar on that page you should see the toll free telephone numbers (English and French) for the company Customer Relations Dept. One of the Customer Relations Representatives should be able to provide you with answers. Since the NOMA products are manufactured in China, you may not be able to purchase the particular replacement parts you need. In that case, you may be able to find the same model of artificial Christmas tree which you have, being sold second hand, which you can purchase to cannibalize for parts. Best wishes.
