The element has failed One of the 3 heat regulation devices has failed or tripped out, one resets itself, the thermal fuse has to be replaced. 'make model (what it is)' in all questions please. ..

My Samsung front load

Hi Jolene...You could have numerous problems causing your dryer not to heat.
I included some things to try and locate the problem part.
You can buy the parts needed on the following websites or numerous other website that sell parts.
http://www.partselect.com/
http://www.appliancepartspros.com/index.aspx

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
Check to make sure you are getting full 220 Volt power to the dryer, if you are then:
Check your Wiring
Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks.
If this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the
wire is attached.
Check the Door Switch
If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed
component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame.
Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch.
Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed.
If not replace the door switch.
Check to make sure you heating problem is not a lint build up in the discharge hose or the dryer,as this condition can cause
heater/thermistor problems such as overheating of the heating coil leading to failure of the coil and burnout of the
thermostat/thermistor due to overheat.
Remove the back/or front just under the door of the machine and try to locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside/outside the air duct you will find the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistors. Once you have located the heating coil, remove the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it is faulty.
If the heating coil is ok, then:
You can check the thermostat/thermistor one at a time by removing the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape
or with an ohm meter to test the thermostat/thermistor. (Should have/show continuity)
If the coil heats up then replace the thermostat/thermistor.
(Thermal fuse.If it overheats the dryer will not operate. It's located on the blower housing. It cannot be reset. A vent clogged
with lint can cause it to overheat. You can test it with an Ohm meter or continuity checker, if no continuity, replace it)
DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST.
This could cause a FIRE, as you have removed the safety of overheat from the machine.
Right after replacing a dryer element, always run the dryer on 'air fluff' / 'no heat', and go outside to verify there's
plenty of air coming out your vent system.
If the vent's clogged, that new element can burn out very quickly.

Miele T1 Classic (TDA150) Clothes Dryer Not Heating. Heating Element replaced, No Error Codes

The air flow problem is not the machine. There is probably a clog in the venting system in the house that needs to be cleaned out. When is the last time that was done?

No electric getting to my Durabrand W375-K

The screws and spacers for the device are lost. However, the mounting hardware could easily be replaced by three screws and corresponding plastic bushings/spacers. Unfortunately, I could not find any information about a fuse for this device. If you're still experiencing issues, I recommend contacting the manufacturer or a certified repair technician.

Hi I have candy gcc590nb condenser dryer after a min or 2 it stops working and the start button flashs at a constant flash the clothes do heat up and the you can feel warm moisture

Check your belts and see if they are broken. Your blower may not be running. With no blower there will be no air flow there for not drying.

My miele rotary iron B995D keeps tripping the eletrics when it heats up

One of the most common reasons is a faulty heating element. Over time, the heating element can malfunction and become unresponsive, causing the thermal safety mechanism to trip your circuit breaker as a safety measure. If this is the case, you might even hear beeping coming from the iron. The only solution here is to replace the element or replace the iron altogether, depending on the make and model of the iron. Another possible reason is an overloaded circuit. If you have too many electrical appliances plugged into one circuit, it can cause your circuit breaker to trip. Try unplugging some items from the circuit and see if that helps. If after this, you continue to have problems, an appliance repair technician is the alternative for a possible repair.

Samsung Dryer dv42h5200ep/a3 Stuck On Cooling

According to a post on applianceblog.com, this issue could be caused by a blocked vent or vent hose, which can trigger the HE error. You can start by checking if the vent and vent hose are not blocked. If that's not the issue, you can try measuring the voltage across RY5, RY6, and RY7 on the main power board during a normal dry cycle. If there is no voltage, you may need to replace the control panel . If you're looking for more information on troubleshooting your Samsung dryer, appliancepartspros.com has a comprehensive guide that lists common symptoms and their causes for your model .

My Electrolux dryer is throwing the code ehi

That is not a standard code. You won't find it on the Electrolux site. I can infer nothing from that. You can either try the general troubleshooting tips for Electrolux dryers OR try to contact Electrolux customer support. Since I have no access to whatever this code means, I can't assess the problem. Here is a troubleshooting video for Electrolux dryers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dDqrB3nk2s

Amana electric dryer won't heat up

It can really only be two things. The element or wiring to it has failed or The Thermal fuse has been overheated and cut off power. Both can be checked with a Digital Multimeter. If your Amana dryer is not heating, it likely has either a defective heating element, thermal fuse, high-limit thermostat, or cycling thermostat. If you have a gas dryer, it is likely not heating because of a defective gas valve solenoid. Feb 2, 2022

Never 'hit' the Start Button, always press it gently. It is part of the main control board. Whirlpool dryers can be reset by disconnecting the power from the wall socket overnight. Samsung error code DE can't clear it?

Since you had a garment get caught in the door, check the hinges and the door latch and striker. Something could be damaged, bent, loose or deformed. You may be able straighten the part or replace the specific part to get the door to close properly. A problem with the door switch or the wiring is also possible. However, I wouldn't check that the switch is not providing the locked signal to the control board until the door closes with the correct alignment of the latch. If you do need to check the wiring, see https://fleetappliance.com/dryer-repair/how-to-fix-samsung-dryer-error-code-de/ for accessing the lock mechanism. I hope this helps. For further information, including a check for a parts list, please add a comment with the model number of your dryer. Cindy Wells
