Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
There is a Lock switch on the left side of the SD card. Make sure the Lock switch is slid up (unlock position). You will not be able to modify or delete the contents on the memory card if it is locked.
You can see the snap attached below;
If the lock switch is not on lock;
- Slide the switch up and down. Repeat this 3 times.
- Let it stay on the Lock position for 30 seconds.
- Slide the switch up to unlock the card.
- Try to transfer files into the device.
If none of the above works, then you card in either damaged (Format it) or is Password protected.
If you think I was of help, your token of appreciation in the form of rating and a testimonial will be esteemed.
Concerned, Nooh

My Tasco digital trail cam model 119223C wont power on. It always says OFF when I push the power button. I have replaced the SD card and fresh batteries with no luck. Can anyone help me out?
If your Tasco digital trail camera is not powering on and only displays "OFF" when you press the power button, despite replacing the batteries and SD card, there are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can take:
1. **Check Battery Orientation:**
Ensure that the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity. The camera won't power on if the batteries are inserted improperly.
2. **Battery Contacts and Compartment:**
Inspect the battery compartment for any signs of corrosion or damage. Clean the battery contacts and the inside of the compartment using a clean, dry cloth or a cotton swab.
3. **Test with Known Good Batteries:**
Sometimes, even new batteries can be defective. Try using a different set of known good batteries to eliminate the possibility of faulty power sources.
4. **External Power Source:**
Some trail cameras can also be powered using an external power source or a compatible external battery pack. Check if your model supports this option and try using an external power source.
5. **Reset to Default Settings:**
Look for a reset button or procedure in the camera's manual. Resetting the camera to its default settings might help if there's a software issue causing the problem.
6. **Check for Firmware Updates:**
Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates for your specific camera model. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.
7. **Inspect for Physical Damage:**
Carefully inspect the camera for any signs of physical damage or water ingress. Ensure that all compartments, seals, and openings are properly closed and sealed.
8. **Contact Tasco Support:**
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, it's advisable to contact Tasco customer support or consult the camera's manual for specific troubleshooting steps. They may be able to provide additional guidance or recommend further actions.
If your trail camera is still under warranty, consider reaching out to Tasco's customer support for assistance. If not, and the issue persists, you might need to consult with a professional camera repair service for a more in-depth diagnosis and potential repairs.

Memory stick error
This is a crazy fix but I can assure you it works, turn the camera off and hit it and then turn the camera back on, I had the problem and heard the fix and tried it as I had nothing to loose the camera was not working anyways an it fixed it error cleared.
You will laugh when it works.
My Eliminator Intelligent Battery Charger, now flashes 000 regardless of what battery I put it on. Can I reset it and get my charger working again?
you can try to reset your charger and get it working again:
Check the battery voltage: Use a voltmeter to check the voltage of your battery. If it's below 3 volts, it may be too low for the charger to detect. In this case, you may need to use a different charger or replace the battery.
Check the connections: Make sure that the battery terminals are clean and securely connected to the charger. Loose connections can cause voltage drops and prevent the charger from detecting the battery.
Check the fuse: If your charger has a fuse, check if it's blown. A blown fuse can prevent the charger from working properly.
Reset the charger: Unplug your charger from the power source and remove any connected batteries. Wait for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. This should reset your charger and clear any error codes.
If none of these steps work, you may need to contact customer support

Error clock R49 error on Nikon D80
this error message is usually caused by a low battery. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
Remove the battery from your camera.
Fully charge the battery using the Nikon D80 battery charger.
Remove the memory card and reset the camera by using the reset option in the menu or by pressing the reset switch on the camera's body, under the connector cover .
If the error persists, Nikon recommends waiting for one or two days before sending the camera in for inspection

I got a Passonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 and it says "Mode dial is not in the proper position
Make sure the picture of the setting you are using on the turn dial is lined up with the beige pointer on the top of the camera. When you turn the dial, you can feel it lock into position. It could be that the dial hasn't quite clicked into the right position and just needs adjusting
