My bicycle's pedal moves before the wheel. I tried reassembling the chain and the wheel. P.s my bicycle doesn't have a mechanical gear

If your bicycle doesn't have mechanical gears, the issue might be related to the freewheel or cassette, depending on your bike's specific setup.

I just bought an old Schwinn stationary exercise bike. I'm 4'11. So it's very hard for me to reach. I bought pedal extenders but they keep flipping. Seat is as low as it can go. Any ideas?

That's a tough one Gina. I see a few alternatives, some jokey, some serious. Buy a real bike that fits you and cycle the parks and streets. wear a helmet, have good lights. Buy a real bike that fits and an indoor attachment that turns it into a an exercise bike. Like this
  1. Positioning Your Stationary Bike Stand. Find a spot in your home where you have enough space for your bike as well as enough space to mount the bike. ...
  2. Installing the Bike. Situate the back end of the bicycle on the stand first. ...
  3. Check Your Work.

Or you could buy a new seat that is physically lower to the seat post. Or take the bike to a fabrication shop and have them cut 5" out of the seat frame stem and re-weld it.

Tomahawk E Series Exercise bike loud peddling sound

Standard WD40 is just a 'quick fix' as it isn't an actual oil unless the can is clearly labelled as "Bike All Condition Lubricant". It'll be best to buy a proper light oil like 3in1, 151 Super oil or an actual chain lube. This 'clickey' noise. Is it random and happening every so often or is it a constant, regular click that changes with the speed your pedalling at? Check for slack in the chain. as you wiggle the chain up and down there should only be about a centimetre of movement in the chain. If it's too slack or too tight it can make strange noises. Check the axle bolts and nuts to make sure they're not loose. Check the wheel is mounted straight. If it's turned left or right the chain will 'skip' as it's slightly missing the cog teeth on the wheel. Use the frame at the rear end of the wheel as reference and measure how far the side of the wheel is from the frame on both sides. It should be about the same both sides.

Fitness quest edge 491r computer panel works for a short period of time when i put new batteries in it however no matter what I do I can not get the resistance to work. Please advise.

If you're experiencing issues with the computer panel and resistance on your Fitness Quest Edge 491r exercise bike, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check Battery Contacts: Make sure the battery contacts within the computer panel are clean and free from corrosion. Dirty contacts can interfere with proper electrical connections. Clean the contacts if necessary.
  2. Proper Battery Installation: Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly, with the correct polarity (+ and -) aligned according to the markings in the battery compartment.
  3. Reset the Computer: Sometimes, resetting the computer panel can help resolve issues. This might involve removing the batteries, waiting for a minute or so, and then reinstalling the batteries.
  4. Check Wiring and Connections: If there are visible wires connecting the computer panel to the resistance mechanism, make sure they are securely connected and not damaged.
  5. Calibration: Some exercise equipment requires calibration after battery replacement. Check your user manual to see if your Fitness Quest Edge 491r requires any calibration steps after changing batteries.
  6. Sensor Alignment: There might be a sensor that reads the resistance level. Make sure it's properly aligned and not obstructed by anything.
  7. Contact Customer Support: If none of the above steps work, it's advisable to contact Fitness Quest customer support. They might be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or suggest further actions.
  8. Professional Assistance: If you're not comfortable performing troubleshooting yourself, consider seeking assistance from a professional technician who specializes in fitness equipment repairs.

Load indicator and odometer and

Same here. Can't find the part online. Local Schwinn dealer said they haven't made that part in at least 10 years. I put on a regular bicycle Cateye odometer. At least I have a measure, although it does feel like it agrees with the Schwinn odometer, even when I set the wheel size to just 100 cm I think it is still ~20% high.

How to install a battery in vetta c 10?

I think on the C10 it is a 'Push In' cover. Using a small flat screwdriver gently lever out the cover. Use the notch on the bottom edge of the cover. Make a note of which way up the battery is when you remove the cover.

When I try to use the shredding disk on my FP-12DC food processor, the disk is so close to the cover that it scrapes plastic off the underside of it.

If the shredding disk on your Cuisinart FP-12DC food processor is scraping against the cover and causing damage, it suggests that the disk is not properly seated or there may be an issue with the assembly. Here are some steps you can take to address the problem: Check the assembly: Ensure that the stem adapter and shredding disk are properly aligned and securely attached to the food processor. The stem adapter should fit snugly into the center of the work bowl. Make sure the shredding disk is correctly placed on top of the stem adapter and clicks into place. Inspect the cover: Examine the cover for any obstructions or misalignments that may be preventing the shredding disk from fitting properly. Clean the cover to remove any food particles or debris that may be causing interference. Verify compatibility: Ensure that you are using the correct shredding disk for your specific model of food processor. Different models may have different sizes or types of disks. Refer to the user manual or contact Cuisinart's customer support to confirm that you have the right shredding disk for your FP-12DC model. Adjust the disk height: Some food processors allow you to adjust the height of the slicing or shredding disk. Check if your model has an adjustment mechanism or a reversible disk with different heights. Follow the instructions in the user manual to adjust the disk height to the appropriate position. Contact customer support: If you have followed these steps and the problem persists, it's recommended to reach out to Cuisinart's customer support for further assistance. They will have specific knowledge about your food processor model and can provide guidance or arrange for a repair if necessary. Avoid using the food processor with a misaligned or damaged shredding disk, as it may affect the processor's performance or cause further damage.
