What is this stitch and how is it knit..."Klblw"? Please and thank you.

Hello, Vivian -I believe the k1b means "knit 1 below" . . . knit the stitch in the row below.See this YouTube video demonstrating K1B:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g_E31DnTUgI do not know what the "1w" or maybe it is "lw" (letter "el" letter "w") abbreviation means.I haven't found it on websites with knitting abbreviations. If the knitting pattern you are following is in a knitting publication, I suggest you contact the publisher of the publication and ask for an explanation for the abbreviation for the stitch. You can also take the text of your pattern and your knitting to a nearby store which exclusively sells knitting yarns and supplies and ask one of the people working there if she / he knows what the abbreviation means and ask for a demonstration.Another option is to register with and log into an online knitting discussion forum and ask your question so that veteran knitters can see it and answer. This is the link to one knitting discussion forum I found:https://forum.knittinghelp.com/You will need to register (free) and log in.Best wishes.

Removing newspaper clippings from old scrapbook

Hi, I think you may destroy them if you try anything else. One suggestion is that you take out the pages and put them in a frame between two pieces of glass so that both sides can be viewed. I wish you luck. :-)

How to I get cricut off line

If you have an Explore One, Explore Air, Explore Air2 or the Maker, the software program, Design Space is not yet advanced to work offline on your computer. You can do some light editing if you are using an iPad.. Provocraft has promised offline functionality since the current program was released in 2012. For humor - the CEO recently indicated on social media several times he had over 100 'software engineers' working on Design Space. which is more than NASA had to land on the moon doing everything manually. This is not a complex program Unfortunately his social media posts are not too accurate. Recently he indicated Provocraft was a very small company and selling their machines at losses and could not afford a school program - while he was encouraging users to take their Cricut to School....keepign in mind you have to use their proprietary software and another graphic program to actually work with most medium to complex projects. With over $240M in sales in 2018 - and still a private company - not so small and realistically they could never afford to sell that many machines at a loss for very long. Cheap plastic made in China with a 12 mo warranty and no repair or service offered - throw away product. Like most issues with their software, they are not a software company and do not do well at all - unfortunately.

My pattern says start in A for 3 rows Rib then change to B what is the A and B

Hello, Nina - I can only think that your knitting project uses more than one color or more than one type of yarn. You will need to decide which yarn will be A and which one will be B. If my explanation is not clear to you, find the telephone number of the shop nearest to you which sells knitting and crochet yarns and make a telephone call to ask someone employed at the shop to explain it. Best wishes.
