I would call your service provider as I think that is what it means. There is no error message "call", as far as I can find.

There is usually a feature with bluetooth devices where you can force them to reconnect to your computer. Go into the computer settings and 'forget' this device. Then force the keyboard to re-pair with the computer. This should do the trick!

This can't be done. If the phone is powered off or the battery dies, the GPS isn't working and it can't be tracked. If you go into 'Find my Phone' you can see the last position it was located, but you won't be able to get a current position if the power is off or dead.

I would check 2 things. First, make sure the phone doesn't have a 'sound off' button on it. Many phones have a button on the outside that turns off any rings, beeps, etc. Make sure if that exists that its not turned on. If you either don't find one or its not engaged, then I would call Straight talk and have them ensure that the cell service is properly 'provisioned' for your Mom's phone. Sometimes the cell companies screw up and the phone won't ring. Either of those will hopefully do the trick!

Connecting a CoolPad 5560 to the internet ... you need to connect your machine to your router either wirelessly, (follow the router instructions) or wired with an RJ45 cable. If wireless look for the router, type in the routers password and save it. That is it you will be on the internet, if the router is connected to your internet. Likewise for hard wiring (and you won't need the password).

That could be the result of someone trying to jail break the phone. The IMEI numer is a specific identification number for that specific phone and if changed will render the phone useless.

Possibly a generic code that now no longer works as each code can only be used on one machine.

Question edited for clarity. So the phone was likely stolen in Australia and shipped to Sri Lanka for sale. For the technician to unlock it by playing with the IMEI, it must have been PUK Locked AKA a SIM Lock. To remove a normal customer set PIN Lock, you just do a hard reset which scrubs the phone clean and reloads the operating system with no lock. A PUK Lock can only be removed by the carrier that provided the phone. The technician tried the impossible task of removing an RSA 128 bit encryption lock by playing with the firmware and corrupted it. You have three choices 1. Give it back to the technician and tell him to fix his mistake 2. Send it to Nokia to have the firmware and IMEI reinstalled 3. Throw it away. If it is blacklisted, contact Nokia and prove ownership. They may then be able to help.

Take it to a T-Mobile store. They should have software to alter firmware to their network and in doing so, erase anything else. ..
