If the size and voltage is correct yes but do not over charge to more than 3.7volts or let the battery voltage go lower than 2.7volts!

Yours has a removable lens unit. Face the lens to your face and unscrew anticlockwise. The MXL-T6 designation refers to the Cree LED Module. The last time I looked you could not really do that, I had the same problem. I got a small piece of music wire (like a coat hanger but made out of harder metal and a bit thinner) and put a small bend in the end and used this to hook the batteries. I would stick it in then twist it so the small "hook" would be over the top of the battery, then pulled it out. Also some battery companys say they will replace any device damaged by their leaking batteries. if you can tell what brand they are you could find out. Also if these are rechargeable Ni-Cd batteries the crud from the inside is toxic, so I would not mess with it
