The different types of water-skis are: combination pairs, slalom skis (one ski), and trick skis. Combination pairs are the most popular type and are used by beginners due to the ease of their use. You should definitely not ski in places where there are a lot of boats, as this can be very dangerous due to high risk of collision. In addition, you should not water-ski near the shore or in shallow water.

How can i make sure the tow rope doesn't get caught in the propellor of my boat?

the most important rule is not to go in reverse while you have a tow rope out. also, when you are throwing the handle to the skier/boarder, coil the rope and keep it away from the prop

How fast should the boat go to tow a wakeboarder?

to first get the wakeboarder up and out of the water, punch the throttle. once he is up, the drag is quickly reduced. then you should basically just play with speed and trim until you get the boat planing and get the wake as big as possible

How do you do a 360 in the air on a wakeboard?

cut fast in at the wake. i ride goofy (left foot forward) and prefer to spin counter-clockwise with the front of my body starting facing the boat. when you launch off the wake, immediately start to spin your body. the key part is to pass the handle behind your back from one hand to the other (for me, from right hand to left). you can practice first without jumping, just to get used to passing the handle. once you have the handle in the other hand, you just have to land with your board in a direction where your momentum will not make you fall

What does the paddle have an angle?

The elbow in a paddle provides a more powerful, effective stroke. When you're paddling, the elbow causes the paddle blade to align straight up and down as it comes alongside the paddleboard.

How should I choose the size of my paddle board?

Paddle boards come in three sizes 10ft, 11ft and 12ft, the size is determined by the weight of the person and how many paddles there will be as well as how far the paddler wants to glide between paddles. Normally a person weighing less than 160lbs will choose the 10ft board and someone weighing over 160lbs would take the 11ft. If the paddler is heaver let's say 300lbs or they want to have more than one paddler they would take the 12ft board.
