Air Tools & Compressors - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues

This spray gun is sold in Australia and New Zealand. For instance, you can find it at Bunnings in Australia. Here is a site where you car order spare parts for such. I suspect you can use it to get a pot.

Use Bostitch sb32 oil or another pneumolube and this is an example option to use an oil nebulizer between the compressor and most mechanical airtools.

yeah, check your bearings in the nose and on the back end. check to see that the vanes are all good too. have you added any grease to the orings. sounds like some screw isn't tight causing the wobble and no power, well that sounds like a air flow issue. so if the air in is at least 90 psi and its coming out when you squeeze the trigger and only then. Its good trigger and it has to be the vanes are worn and motor housing dirty,

not completely familiar with that exact model but on other ones if there is a jam it wont fire or was jammed and not reset, meaning the driver( what drives the nail) has to be in the up most position. so use a long thin rod and push it back to the top and check that the magazine has nails or that the feed is good. if want to try with no nails you have to leave the magazine open. but should work with charged battery and make sure any adjustment switches are on or off cant be in a middle position. but know from the dewalt framer cordless the driver has to be up before it will fire.

check it over and look for the motor and make sure the fuse has not popped out. it will do that for many reasons but mostly if not enough power is available when running or ran too long and got hot.

try the electrician page and check that you have very good grounding. sometimes the poor ground will give false reading of high voltage because of less equal grounding.

I am assuming the oil in the air filter, if its a beltless style would be to keep dust from going inside, like the really old cars were, they called them oil soaked filters. better at trapping dust and dirt.

just throwing this out there is there a purge valve that is sticking perhaps and not releasing. so it has to start under pressure? I would try draining all the air completely and then trying to start it, have you did the spark plugs too? make sure they are new weak plug will make it run like a champ but put it under load it will die.

should be able to get that at ereplacement parts or at places that sell compressors. it should be pretty standard thread.

ok, open the magazine and see if the pusher is working when you have nails in it, it should slide back as you close it, if not your spring is shot. if it does then you will have to take the two screws in the front out, they should be 3mm alan head, that will remove the nose plate, but why your doing this is because they jam easily and parts go into the track and don't allow the nails to scoot ahead.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like maybe too much oil was put in? Maybe a seal is failing and allowing oil out?
Are you talking about the filter for the compressed air, or the motor? It sounds like the latter.
