Can I use the Wagner 915 1500 Watt On-Demand Power Steamer to remove tree sap from car's painted surfaces?
It's possible BUT it would probably turn it into a gooie mess and you'd just smear it around and create a bigger mess.
If you have any rubbing alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, around the house, this is your go-to tree sap removal solvent. We are talking about common alcohol, not some 100-proof stuff. You only need a dilute solution for it to work. Put a bit on a paper towel, micro fiber towel and dab it on. Gently wipe the sap off. Any rough moves with any solvent can leave a mark. Take your time! Let the solvent do the job, not the towel and your elbow grease. Rinse with warm water.
Best to you
Senco SFN1+ Trigger assembly?
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding a replacement trigger assembly for your Senco SFN1+ nailer. It can be frustrating when a part is discontinued and difficult to find.
One option you may consider is to contact Senco directly. They may have information on where to find a replacement part, or they may be able to suggest an alternative part that could work with your nailer. You can reach Senco's customer service department at 1-800-543-4596 or through their website.
Another option is to search for the part on third-party websites such as eBay or Amazon. Sometimes, sellers on these websites may have discontinued parts in stock or may be able to source them from other suppliers.
If neither of these options works, you may need to consider replacing the entire nailer or finding a professional repair service that could potentially fabricate a custom replacement part for you.
I hope this information helps you find a solution to your problem!

Covering louvers with window mesh on Artic King 5000
Adding window mesh over air conditioner louvers should have minimal impact on airflow and compressor performance as long as the mesh is not blocking the louvers or obstructing the airflow. However, if the mesh blocks any of the louvers, air flow, and compressor performance may be impacted.
Brand new 1/2 inch impact took out selector knob and the hose adapter off and all the parts fell out how do they go back in
Without knowing the specific make and model of your 1/2 inch impact tool, it's difficult to provide a detailed answer on how to reassemble the selector knob and hose adapter. However, here are some general steps that may help you put the parts back together:
- Gather all the parts that fell out and make sure they are clean and undamaged.
- Take a close look at the selector knob and hose adapter to see how the parts fit together. If there are any diagrams or instructions in the user manual, consult them.
- Identify any pins, springs, or other small components that may have fallen out. These are typically used to hold parts in place or provide tension.
- Reinsert any pins or springs into their proper locations. If you're not sure where they go, consult the user manual or look for any marks or indentations on the parts where the pins or springs may have been seated.
- Place the parts back into the tool in the order they were removed, making sure that all parts are properly aligned and seated.
- If necessary, tighten any screws or bolts that secure the parts in place.
- Test the tool to make sure it is working properly.
If you're still having trouble putting the parts back together, you may want to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance. It's important to reassemble the tool correctly to ensure safe and effective operation.
Why does my SENCO SCN65 shoot 2 nails at a time
If the trigger is worn out it can cause the nail gun to double fire. If the gun is set to bump fire and it is double firing in this setting then replace the trigger valve. If the nailer is set to trigger fire, then leaky O rings on the trigger valve can cause this.

Bostitch SX1838K 18GA Narrow Crown Finish Brad Nailer and Stapler. I bought a lightly used SX1838. Tested it a few months ago. Took me a minute to get it to fire but it seemed to be fine.
If your SX1838 is not firing when you try to use it on your carpet project, there may be a few possible issues that you can try to address. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
- Check the power source. Make sure that the power cord is securely plugged into the SX1838 and into a working outlet. If the power cord is damaged or not properly connected, the tool may not be receiving enough power to operate.
- Check the switch. The SX1838 has a switch that allows you to select between two modes of operation. Make sure that the switch is set to the correct mode for your project.
- Check the trigger. The SX1838 is triggered by pressing the trigger on the handle. Make sure that the trigger is fully depressed and that it is not obstructed by any debris or other materials.
- Check the nozzle. The SX1838 has a nozzle that sprays the adhesive. Make sure that the nozzle is clear and not clogged with any debris or adhesive.
If you are still unable to get the SX1838 to fire after trying these steps, you may need to contact the manufacturer for additional troubleshooting assistance or to have the tool serviced.
My Senco Coil nailer, shoots one nail then shoots double nails
If your Senco coil nailer is shooting one nail followed by double nails, it could be due to several reasons:
- Jammed Nail: The first nail may have gotten stuck or jammed in the coil, and when the driver blade pushes down, it forces two nails to come out. You can try removing the jammed nail and reloading the coil.
- Depth Adjustment: The depth adjustment on your nailer may be set too deep, causing the driver blade to push down too far and shoot two nails instead of one. Try adjusting the depth control to a shallower setting.
- Worn Parts: The driver blade or nose piece may be worn out, causing it to push down unevenly and shoot double nails. In this case, you may need to replace these parts.
- Air Pressure: The air pressure on your compressor may be too high, causing the nailer to shoot double nails. Check the air pressure gauge and adjust it accordingly.
If you are unsure about how to troubleshoot or fix the issue, it's always best to consult the user manual or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Nail gun, stappler wont fire
Hi,
Please attempt to push out some test staples at different angles with your mastercraft. That is, I'd like you to rotate 90 degrees 4 times and attempt to push a staple each time. If it works only at certain angles, then we know that something has come apart within the mastercraft. And you've already applied oil on the mastercraft which is good. If possible, please swap out the staples and attempt to sho ot with the new set. Otherwise, I think Home Depot or Lowe's should be the next stop so they can examine the device and determine how to troubleshoot.
Thank you.
