How do you replace a pick up roller on a brother

The pick up roller is in the paper tray. It is the roller in the middle front of the tray. Usually, you press the roller to one side and it will pop out. Install the new one doing the reverse. There is a seperation pad that may need cleaning, too. Rub it with a damp cloth.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

Thanks, Joe I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/joe_8b8c2cd6ce148309

How to replace the adf pickup/roller assembly on a Brother MFC-L8900cdw? Mine is starting to pull 2-3 sheets of paper at a time

To replace the ADF pickup/roller assembly on a Brother MFC-L8900cdw printer, follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Open the automatic document feeder (ADF) cover and remove any paper from the feeder.
  3. Locate the ADF pickup/roller assembly. It is located underneath the ADF cover and consists of a set of rollers that are used to feed paper into the printer.
  4. Use a small screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the ADF pickup/roller assembly in place.
  5. Carefully lift the ADF pickup/roller assembly out of the printer.
  6. Install the new ADF pickup/roller assembly by aligning it with the mounting holes and securing it in place with the screws.
  7. Close the ADF cover and plug the printer back in.
  8. Turn the printer on and test the ADF to make sure it is functioning properly.
If you are having difficulty replacing the ADF pickup/roller assembly or if the problem persists after replacing it, it may be necessary to have the printer serviced by a professional. A technician will be able to diagnose the problem and determine the necessary repairs.

Print unable 78

Error 78 indicates a mechanical malfunction from within the printer. Not6 really anything you can do as the end user. I would recommend getting in touch with Brother or a printer technician.

Brother P-Touch label maker won't print. The tape is feeding out but no letters.

Question edited for clarity and add maker. There are many models under the P-Touch brand, so generic answers only but in 90% of cases it is an incorrectly seated cartridge.. https://www.google.com/search?q=p-touch+label+maker+not+printing ..

Brother Hl-2040 laser printer

Fonts and sizes are typically controlled by the application you are using. Are you sure you are increasing the font size? I've had some users confused by the zoom feature which is more like a magnifying lens. It just makes thing larger for viewing purposes and does not affect the print size. To change the actual font size of a document already created you would first highlight the text in the document. In Word (other applications are similar) you would then select Format from the main menu bar, then select Font. In the next box that appears you would click on the Font tab, and then in the Size field select a larger font size. After that click on OK and you should see your font size change. Let us know if that was your problem or not.

Brother ML 300 ALT + M Rel does not work. After those keys are pressed, neither the space bar nor the backspace will move the carriage to establish a new margin position.

Hi, Please restart your type writer machine before trying your procedure again. Then, please double check that pressing alt + m is a correct procedure based on your product manual. If so, and you can continue to have this issue, please reference the troubleshooting manual before sending in the type writer for repair with brother. Thank you.

Hl 2140 error light is flashing

Got the same problem, but in fact it WAS a paper jam. Open both the back panel (can you see the orange roller clearly? If so, no jam) and the front panel. Grab the handle and take out the toner and drum and check there is no paper. Chances are there will be.
