Try cleaning the drum cylinder with alcohol and a cotton ball. Then swipe the corona wire cleaner back and forward making sure to return it to the correct place. Try a print. Three or four repeating marks down the page means there will be a spot or smudge of toner on drum unit. Open the front hatch and remover the toner and drum assembly. Separate the toner and drum. Rotate the drum cylinder using the white gear at one end looking carefully at the surface of the cylinder as you turn it. Somewhere on the surface you will see one or more black specks. These need to be cleaned off using alcohol (preferably Iso-propanol but methylated spirit will do)on a cotton ball (or very soft cloth or tissue paper). Once you have found and cleaned off all specks you can re-assemble the toner and drum, put it back in the printer and run a test page. That should fix your problem.
PRINT UNABLE 1A
Print unable 1A indicates condensation forming inside the machine. If the condensate drops on to the main circuit board (positioned just under a metal bar that acts as a moisture condenser) you have a terminal fault. If your machine is still reporting a 1A error after two weeks in relatively dry conditions, it is probably all over bar the burial ceremony.
