I have a Pioneer 505
The battery terminals may be tarnished and not making proper contact.You can clean them with fine sandpaper or toothpaste on a tissue. Its possible that the contacts in the switch may not be making proper contact or if the battery terminals are soldered to the PCB the joints may be bad.
When I turn the unit

Normally the led and the buzzing would indicate a detection, but since it happens constantly then it's a defect in the connections between the coils and controller board. You must dismantle the unit and check the wires and the soldering points. If they are ok then the measuring circuit for one of the coils has failed - this is terminal, it cannot be fixed.
