Lint filter going off after 5 minutes then shutdown
Hello folks try this if you have not gotten this resolved. Your dryers have 2 sensor systems, the first one test the clothes for moisture, the second for the heat. The 1 sensor system drops resistance when the wet clothes are put in the dryer. the shutting down after 5 minutes and lint filter light coming on could be that the dryer isn't sensing the moisture. Now for the fun part, the entire inside of the drum and paddles is the moisture sensor. Try cleaning the inside of the drum with a cleaner to remove any detergent or fabric softner residue. This is crucial if you are using fabric softner sheets as they coat the drum. Also wash the lint filter with soap and water so the water goes straight thru instead of puddling up. Remember to also clean the condenser as this can trigger this issue as well. Hope this helps
I cant figure out how to change the light bulb on
You need to go through the top panel with the switches to access the bulb. First remove the screws that hold the top to the dryer. (There are a series of tabs with the screws.) Next, use a flat blade screw driver to push down and pull out the plastic tabs along top of the front panel. Pull the top of the front panel back. Now look for some plastic tubes. Stick a screw driver down into the machine and pry the tubes up at the bottom. Then you can access the light bulb and its socket.
I hope this helps.
