Why is there no "Add Water" notification?
on my Bosch TKN68E75UC built in coffee machine I did the following and it worked: Remove the water tank, look at the tank side. you will see that there is a float made of a magnet in a little compartment that slides up if the tank is full and down if it's empty. If the tank has not been moved, cleaned or descaled for a long period of time, the float will be stuck even if there is water in the tank: Empty the tank. remove the tank cover to access the float compartment. remove the small cap (cover) if any. remove the float by turning the container upside down or using a long metallic object (bread knife) and pull the float/magnet out. clean the compartment and the float. replace all. and fill your tank. the problem may come back: using another magnet or a metallic object and stick it to the container outside facing the float might also help if it gets stuck again. good luck.
Empty trays message will not go away
The interior sensor is dirty. Turn off power, unplug unit, clean any contacts within the unit. Make sure the tray is also clean, particularly the metal leads at the back of the tray.
Beans are too oily
This fixes almost all the "beans will not feed or beans will not grind"
problems caused by coffee bean dust packed in the burrs. Oily beans
cause this problem more fequently.
a. Pour all the beans out the top.
b. Open the settings up all the way and see what else can be poured
out. Use your shop vacuum to **** grounds out the spout and backward
out the bean bin.
c. Pour in some instant rice and start grinding. Reduce the grind to
a small setting like six and then open the settings all the way again.
(The grinder will not start at a low setting with the rice in it. If
you let it stop, open the settings to about 16 before trying to
restart.)
d. Pour out the rice and vacuum out the ground rice.
e. Adjust the grinder to your favorite setting and try a coffee grind.
Grind until most of the rice dust is expelled (any remaining trace of
rice dust will not affect the flavor of the coffee).
How do i fix the error 8
Display ERROR 5 or ERROR 8 Is A Technical Malfunction. To Fix It Switch "OFF" the device at power switch 1 for at least 10 seconds. Then turn it back on. If that doesn't work try 60 seconds or reboot the device for at least 1 minute. Good Luck.......
It says error 8 and not working
Error "8" is an NTC (temperature sensor) fault. I would advise you to contact the manufacturer for further advise on this but in my experience, it is not a major issue and can be sorted fairly easily.
Coffee is not coming through the dual spouts but
seems like u have clogged nozzles. or you take to the service - it is
not expensive and they will show u how to clean it, or clean it by
yourself - by opening the side door on the right, unlocking the
locks clockwise and remove whole the black block inside. just wash it
under water.
Bosch buenvenito tkn68e coffee weak
The coffee machine started with a water leak. It comes from the inside of the machine and leaks in the inferior part of it. Any clue of what may be causing it?
What can I do to fix error b or 8 on my machine
I have it happen to me sometimes & I shut the main power off & remove the side panel (beans side). Then open the panel & unlock the 3 lock pins that holds the coffee press component(1 piece) in place. Clean that piece with soap & water as it gets gummed up. Dry & reinstall. Then turn power back on after closing everything back up. A repair guy talked me thru it on the phone & it's worked every time.
