An open wire or incomplete connection at the fuel pump plug. Try unplugging the wiring and plugging it back in also Che k for a loose ground wire on the tank where you had to remove it.

Undo positive terminal from battery touch to a ground but not the negative post reconnect you should be reset

Tyres are not threaded, I am guessing you mean the wheel nuts. All car nuts undo by turning them anti clockwise but some garages over tighten. Get a decent bar to undo it.

Get it fixed if you want it to work. However I guess that the system is shot and is going to cost a lot to fix.

This maybe another case of filter blocked but first check oil and water levels, then, if ok warm car up and take down road flat out in first gear. If it is the FAP or the catalytic converter it nay clear. If it does then every week you need to thrash the car up the freeway with engine revs over 3000 rpm that may not be in top! Me I drive around with the engine revving high in towns using extreme acceleration as this cleans out both quickest. It may not be the best for the town, but hey they bring in silly rules and then do not explain the situation.

possibly the transmission cables need adjusting but I am afraid you will have to take it to a garage/service centre.

We have a friend with a different make of car and many of his lights are on. To get a certificate of road worthiness he had to remove the lamps. (!!!!!) I suspect after looking at his car a mouse had a home in it. Certainly one of our cats arrived under it hood. Did not you Tom as I turn around and hear him purring.

Take the car out and warm it up, drive at high gas for about 20 minutes, say 30 miles an hour is second gear. The FAP filter and or catalytic converter is not happy. Story:- a lady friend broke a gear selection cable in her Citroen. I drove the car home some 20 miles in second and was going almost flat out. After the cable was fixed the lady said that not only did the garage fix the cable but they made the engine better. I did not have the heart to tell her I thrashed the "particles" off the engine for 20 miles in second. This is the inane result of so called ecologic situation. Me, I drive my car in 1st or 2nd in 30 (50ks) zones, in 3rd in 40 or 50 zones. There are places in big cities where the catalytic converter will just not work and are breaking down due to lack of heat and filters blocking for same reason. All new cars need a weekly/monthly (depends on usage) thrash up a freeway at 70 mph or 110Klm with engine revs over 3000 for 20 minutes at least 1 a month! That may not be in top gear.

Steer clear. the repairs will cost more that the car is worth. Do not even accept as a gift free of charge!

The reason is that modern cars have so much electronic stuff, for example the door monitor locking system is always on, and so are many other things. If your car is frequently left standing then get a charger that hooks up to the mains electricity. I have the same problem with my vehicles,

Is this an auto? If so, have someone check the trans fluid level correctly.
