foot on the brake move the gear stick back and forward .when in park foot on the brake then key out.

get a radiator flush .when was the last time you changed your thermostat as it may be sticking.

recharge your battery with a battery charger.

check the fluid in your box if low top it up .if very dirty get it flushed .replace with new fluid.

what is the code you are getting.

change the battery for your remote.take old one out replace with new one.must be done quickly .as your ECU may not accept it.

check your carpets if wet does it smell of antifreeze .if no. then leaking door seals.

check the sensors for rust.and clean them.

check all of your pads on each wheel. and check the rotors they may be bent.or a damaged.

check your codes first.

check for bad earth.

sounds like the trouble is the ECU .it may need a software update.but check your codes first.

fill with correct fluid. leave the cap off .turn your steering left and right a few times on full lock each time .to bleed it.

does it have a water leak.does it have gunk on your oil cap .if no then get a radiator flush pour that into your expansion bottle .run the engine till water is hot .but your heating on full .as it can be a blocked core in both the radiator and your heater.so that will clean it.then drain it.but when did you last change your thermostat .as my be sticking.when you drain it refill with 50/50 mix of antifreeze .leave off the cap .but heater on full that will bleed it as you can get an air lock if you dont do that.

you must sure the fuse is o.k. However you must see if there are loose connection, corroded, oxide, and use contacts cleaner. 2) test the switch for control driver seat, from open or faulty or clean it. 3) you must test the motor or solenoid inside.see the diagram attached. God bless you

Try going to your local library sometimes they have service manuals.

is this a manual gearbox? if so there will be a drain plug at the lowest point on the gearbox housing and a level/fill plug on the side (add gearoil until it starts to come back out then replace the level/fill plug) either way you need a friendly mechanic with a hydraulic 4 post hoist. the car should be level when you check the oil level so you can't just jack up the front of the car and slide underneath and do this job. The car needs to be level. if this is an automatic then same story with the 4post hoist and the drain plug is underneath the transmission pan and the fill/level is on the side of the pan. either way you need a friendly mechanic. ATF is clear and red colour so if the transmission ATF oil comes out brown and smells burnt. it needs to be replaced as the clutch plates have been slipping. the transmission filter should be changed along with the ATF every 40,000 miles.
