How many tablespoons of ground coffee are needed

For ground coffee, use 1-1/2 (one and one-half) tablespoons of beans per 6 ounces of water.

For whole bean coffee, use two tablespoons of beans per 6 ounces of water.

Coffee strength is a very personal preference, so use these numbers as a guideline for middle-of-the-road coffee, and adjust to make the coffee that you like to drink.

I have black & decker pw1400s it is possible to connect the water faucet

It will depend on what kind of faucet it is. You can get adapters for the faucet on your kitchen sink but I find they are not very good for pressure washers. They can leak and spray water all over your sink and kitchen. For a pressure washer it is best to have an outside faucet fitted. This will give you the correct type of faucet to connect to and a good supply of water to the pressure washer. It is usually not very expensive to get one fitted.

Removing a undercabinet coffee maker without breaking it

If you are using your Bialetti for the first time, carry out a few practice brews and throw the coffee out. The coffee oils seal the aluminium surface and will prevent your coffee from having a metallic taste.Don't clean your moka pot with soapy water or an abrasive sponge. Remember all those great cuppas you made that imparted their special oils onto the inside of the pot? You don't want to go tarnishing that with the taste of dishwashing liquid. Simply rinsing it with hot water and wiping it with a clean cloth after each use will suffice. Alternatively, leave it out on the drying rack for a bit so that it dries out completely.

My coffer maker brew basket

Hello, Srober48 - Since your Black & Decker coffee maker is only a few months old, it is most likely still covered by warranty. I suggest you call the Black & Decker Customer Service / Support telephone number printed in your owner's manual / instructions and find out if you can take the coffee maker to an authorized repair center (for free, warranty-covered repair) or if the company will provide you with a replacement coffee maker. Note: I suggest you do not try to repair the coffee maker yourself while it is still covered by the warranty. Best wishes.

Black & Decker Brew 'N Go Coffeemaker: Why is it

Check the valve on the bottom of the filter basket to be sure it is opening freely and completely. This valve may have some grounds caught in it. If it is clean but appears to be sticking, try some non-stick cooking spray or vegetable oil.

I fill the Brew and

It sounds like the valve [ball?] at the bottom of your reservoir is sticking. That will prevent good water flow into the heating chamber. Hence, the thermostat trips and shuts off the brew element. Try running undiluted vinegar [without coffee in the basket] to see if this cleans the valve. Also try turning the maker upside down over the sink when the cycle stops, to "backwash" the valve with the vinegar. You may have to repeat this several times.

Coffee grounds in the coffee pot. It appears water

From what you described, it sounds like your carafe isn't fitting properly. The lid of the carafe is supposed to open a valve on the bottom of the filter basket. If this valve is clogged or not opening completely, that will produce your symptoms. Also, the warming element will not keep carafe hot if the carafe isn't sitting properly.

Use your phone book or online yellow pages to search for a repair shop in your area. I suspect a thermal fuse has blown in your unit. Only an experienced repair tech can replace it. Sometimes, the cost of the repair is more than a replacement appliance.

Trying to figure out how to turn off buzzer indicator on black & Decker Smart Brew coffee maker.

You cannot turn off beeping but i have found a 'hack' to do so if you are desperate, instead of caulking i would reccomend just simple blue tack/white tack...easier and also removable. "Now if you want to squelch that beeping (this will probably void the warranty)...You can take off the bottom of the unit (but be advised you need a special screwdriver on one of the screws hidden under the rubber feet). You will see a circuit board held by nylon standoffs, once you get the board loose you will see a round black unit with a hole in the top side, this is the beeper. To lower the volume so you can barely hear it fill the hole with caulking or silicone and reassemble. (be careful not to pinch any wires....Good Luck....." STOP THAT BEEPING
